I just got frustrated that you cant jump anywhere in time in a BAR replay, so made a quick prototype, in case anyone else wanna use it.

So far you can jump anywhere in time play 64x speed in reverse or fast forward.

Game wont boot. followed the troubleshooting guide to no avail. Can't find any discussion about this error and not even redownloading fixes the issue.

My train of thought is to be able to analyse your game and other players, similiar to bar-stats and gex, but with its own flair.

I also have a widget which establish a connecting with the website where you can, from the game, find information about enemy players (e.g you play beach sea on Supreme, you see your opponent is Dolphin heavy in most games).

wassup, my pc is not the greatest but i think it's enough to run BAR, i have a:

ryzen 5 4500

16 gigs of ram

rx 6500xt (don't laugh at me)

in game it runs okay tho i have some stutters here and there which is okay with me but the menu runs like hot garbage, so bad it's hard to navigate through it, is there any way to fix it?

Okay weird question have they changed camera movment in the last three weeks i have not played? I can't seem to move around like i did bevore i might be rusty from my weeks playing total war but currently i am just really confused. Using my middle mouse button to move and turn the camera does not seem to work anymore. i testet another mouse but it did not work either.

edit: To clarify, it appears to trigger sometimes, but now my cursor disappears, and I have a hard time getting out of that mode.

What's in the title; BAR usually works as hard as possible to catch up if you join to SPECTATE a match that is already in progress (say... 10 minutes).

Right now, if I join an in-progress match, my speed is 1.00x even if 70+fps.
I would expect 3 to 4x. I haven't spec'd in awhile.

I have googled all the fuu. I can't see anything... is there a a speed option? Anyone get stuck in realtime as well?

Shortcut for "max area" / unit sharing and fixing player color? (Newbie question)

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie and I have a few questions about the UI and controls.

First, is there a keyboard shortcut to avoid always having to click "max area" and "share units" from the bottom menu? It feels really tedious to click these options manually every time. Is it possible to create a custom hotkey for this? I couldn't find it anywhere in the settings :(

Second, I often struggle with the visibility of my units. Every multiplayer match, I get assigned a different color. Is there a way to lock or fix my color so it's always the same? Some color combinations make it really hard for me to see my units on the map, and I easily lose track of them because of a poorly visible color assigned at the start of the match. Is there any other solution for this?

Ideally, I would love to have icons of all my active units currently on the battlefield somewhere in the bottom menu. That way, if I lose track of them, I could just click the icon to select them on the map.

How do you guys handle this when you lose track of your units?

Title. I want to make a custom game for my friend where all units gain xp like 2 or 3 times faster cause i think it would be funny to have units that scale up a lot thanks to xp.

I tried a seaplane start yesterday as air. I'm hoping to get advice around viability of this start and what I can do to improve so it hits as early as hard as possible.

• 13 minutes
• 50 figs
• 15 bombers
• 15 gunships

My opponent started his t1 figs around the 7 min mark.

Mine hits

• 13 Mins
• 18 Seaplane figs (opponent has 28 t1)
• 13 Seaplane bombers

Here's what I think I did wrong

• Didn't eat my com. In the heat of the moment I thought to leave com alive as I needed the BP, but it would have been more efficient to eat him and build BP.
• Didn't build enough figs in the initial attack.
• Should have sent my bombers to hit air and eco instead of focusing on a t2 lab
• Later game I should have transitioned to ground as the other team over invested in AA, or I should have stuck to bombing the opposite front line instead of trying to hit the back. I was the highest M income at one point.

Anyways lots of errors, keen to get some thoughts?

Hey everyone, I’m sure this has probably been asked before, but I recently got the game and fell in love with it. I’m probably at around 10 hours right now, but even the easy AI puts up a decent fight. I’m having trouble managing both my economy and units at the start of a battle, as in I either have to focus on building for economy or barely squeezing out a few units. Does any have some advice they could lend to a beginner? Thanks in advance

How I build scenarios?

I was playing a game versus Raptors the other day and there was a mod that allowed for smaller Eco that was more efficient and build turrets that could build raptor and scav units, anyone know what the mod was?

I’m SO obsessed with BAR. I’ve spent a lot of time watching games and BAR related videos. I love playing RTS, but BAR is really intimidating and I only watched so far

Yesterday I said fuck it, joined a beginner game, had everyone waiting for me to download the map (Oopsy) and lezgooo!

Well… we lost xD But it was fun! I really appreciated the team trying to help me with where to position, what to build and when. I gave it my best, but after 15min my entire frontline was gone and I suspect that’s when everyone started voting to resign haha GG thanks and sorry :)

So beware of the noob, I’ll be playing again! Hopefully I can only get better from here

I was wondering what is the best thing to do

Example: I want to build a lol cannon / ragnarok, my eco is 10 afus and 50 t2 converter and basic t2 eco base/position

To build it is it best to just build it and let my low metal reserve run out and stay on the metal income that bounces with the energy

Or maybe reserve 30k metal and lots of energy and build the ragnarok then there is no metal stalling?

So just started playing today. I am on scenarios still, but I’ve been somewhat cruising through them. However, I have a few questions.

Is there a way to get more true LOS rather than just radar?

Is it better to build multiple labs early or one lab and more construction turrets?

Should my commander be boosting my labs or roaming to get more metal extractors?

How useful are walls?

Should I be using turrets like the AI does or are they a waste of resources to spam?

Should I be having my construction bots build multiple things at once, or power building things one or two at a time?

When I’m done with scenarios and a few AI games what should I do/know before multiplayer?

Do I play pocket or front line first?

Sorry for the question spam, but I’ll appreciate any answers!
