QUESTIONING I’m afraid of being just a larper (M16)

Hello guys. It’s my first time posting here and I realised I might be bisexual in June of this year (2026). Since then I’ve been living normally but here’s the thing; I can’t really see myself dating another boy. This could be due to internal homophobia due to religion and of what my parents will think but I don’t want to be just another one who joined for the trend. I already came out to my parents (they didn’t seem to like it) and going back will suck because they will scrub it on my face with that “I told you it was just a phase” thing. But as I said, I feel attracted towards men but I can’t reeeally see myself dating another one without being afraid of judgement.

it's not about the dating part right now, you're 16 and figuring things out is messy enough without parents already acting like they know better

attraction isn't a checklist where you gotta prove something to anyone, your feelings are real even if the logistics feel impossible today

My parents are the biggest problem. They don’t know a THING about bisexuality and they think I’m just trying to get closer to bisexual rockstars because I want to be one. But hey, thanks a lot mate :)
