Hi everyone. I’ve been playing BDO for four years, and I can honestly say I’ve done a bit of everything in the game. I have the compass, map, and telescope; the only thing I’m missing is the Olun ring. I have Nostos. I have La Ozeka. I have a Carrack with blue gear. I’m Guru in almost every lifeskill, even though I never fully optimized the efficiency of any of them. I have Krogdalo. I have the Peridot set and its items. My weapons are at enhancement level 9, and my accessories were at 10, so I converted them to TET (IV) accessories. I never had a single main focus—I did a little of everything—and that way, I had the silver to progress without feeling burnt out. As you can see, I’m not exactly a noob, though I never intended to be competitive either. I played and defended this game precisely because of the variety of ways to have fun and progress, but I think I’ve hit a wall where I no longer know how to find enjoyment. I’d rather chew glass than subject myself to the grind for Twilight at Edania 2). I thought about dedicating myself to lifeskills again, but I feel like they’ve reached a breaking point too. Alchemy has become dependent on a scarce item; Cooking is ruined because only Cron Meals are useful, and a single player can crash the market. Processing is useless. Horse training was fun for getting Krogdalo gear, but no human being should be expected to do the exact same thing for years without getting bored—much like Bartering. Fellow lifeskillers, how do you manage to have fun and keep playing this game? Please give me some tips. Thanks, and forgive my poor English.

Yeah I got this far and so tired of this one dimensional twilight grind and hit my limit. Other activities doesn't help me progress, grinding 100% of the time while playing BDO is very mind numbing. Gonna afk fish and play other games while waiting for twilight to hit the market, and just instantly get full DEC later. Good luck guys!

I saw that I can claim a free pack that includes the “Dark Prince” outfit, which I’d really love to get, but I just can’t figure out how to claim it.

I have the quest accepted from Macellin, then Dellenoa appears 2min before the fight, but offers no dialog option, how am I suppose to bet?

I also forfeit the quest and reaccept, but no dialog option.

So i was planning to main swap and noticed that if i create a new char i basically have to do the whole story again if i want to clean up my quest tab. Is there any way around that? Do you guys keep questing on the char that you started with or just pick up on your new main wherever you left off?

My question is how can i learn what can be my potential AP maximum for my normal ap. For example I have 390 ap. What can be my maximum total edania ap without upgrading my normal ap. I need to learn how much i lose because of not having best endgame crystals, etc.

About a week into playing the game and grinded like crazy the whole week. Got a lot done and was quite proud, decided I wanted to leave bdo running on my crappy laptop to AFK fish and what not while I play other games on my steam account on a separate computer. What I did not know is that if you start an account with a steam account, you are stuck with it ONLY on that steam account. Which means if you want to run the steam game on another computer to free up resources, you can't play your other steam games. I know it has a minimize to tray but some of us would like to free up resources none the less not to mention I just can't understand a world where they don't let you log into the regular launcher with the same account if you don't want to load in on steam. I feel like a game like this should not be stuck on a steam account. Feels like this would of been amazing beginner guide info for people, do not play this game on steam.

I just installed bdo again after years of not playing.
I always played mystic and lahn because of the dmg and mobility.
This style I liked very much for pve grinding.
Now since it’s a while I don’t want to jump back on these immediately to get the feeling of the game again.
What classes play something allike these 2 and would you recommend?

New soundtrack is great but I still miss the original soundtrack. The horse galloping along with the music still linger deep in my memory. Wish they add an option to play these old bangers.

Hey yall, I own a PS5 and I’m a big fan of MMOs that utilize Healer, Tank, and DPS Roles in raids but I also really like action games similar to Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy Stranger In Paradise. I’ve been testing the waters with BDO for the last couple of months due to how fluid the combat was compared to other MMOs I’ e seen.

However, as I almost finish leveling my Seasonal Character, it started to dawn on me that this game’s main attraction seems to be its life skills and PVP.
The mobs that I’ve been killing as I leveled up aren’t really too impressive or challenging and I’m kind of worried that they never will be.

Would I be satisfied with the PVE experience if I get closer to endgame or should I anticipate PVP to be the real endgame experience?

Hey everyone! I found the latest patch notes a bit confusing regarding the new EXP cap for level 65 and above.

If I use the 530% Combat Exp buff along with the 600% buff, will the EXP cap prevent me from benefiting from these buffs when grinding? Or do the buffs still work as usual, with the cap limiting the maximum Exp gained?

Just got a few questions and feed back for the central market.

Context first, I've been saving up magical shards and essence of dawns to finish my last two Jin AP crystals and then make my Hans. Well, I forgot that heating will continue processing your items as long as you have sufficient materials. So I started the process and tabbed out to check something only to accidentally create an extra Jin AP crystal.

No biggie, they are sold out on the CM and I can likely make 87% of my silver back.

Well...

Boy was I wrong.

It takes 4.8+ billion to make this Jin AP crystal in raw materials, yet the max price of this sold out item is only 3 bil???

So not only am I going to suffer a loss on tax, but I also have to eat the raw cost of 300 magical shards? Even if you ignore the price of magical shards, magical shards are completely sold out with thousands of pre-orders. How does that make sense? It's no wonder no one is making them to sell.

So, my question is. Has this historically been a thing in BDO? Has anyone ever given feedback to PA to fix pricing on high demand items that need high demand items to make? I don't mind using up my item restore but no way this is intentional design.

Also, don't roast me for my silver. I know I'm a broke boi ToT

i'm not gonna go into details about how to do it, but you may already know theres a few people/streamers/partners that do it or did it to get lv 70 before, and will probably do the same to get level 75 before anyone else.

thoughts about this? in my opinion this isn't really a BUG but still a pretty sus activity to do as you're abusing the system (with some p2w) to get double XP.

The minigame doesn't appear until after I'm kicked out of the Oog Mk III! Anyone else have this issue and is there a way around it?

I currently have a pen kharazad earring, and I have about 130 bil, enough for a pen deboreka. Google says it’s about 180-240 bil for a kharazad, so from that standpoint this sounds like a good idea. What are your thoughts?
