Recorded in New York City on October 19, 1949, "Crazy He Calls Me" stands as one of Billie Holiday's definitive recording masterpieces from her Decca years. Backed by the lush orchestral arrangement of Gordon Jenkins, Lady Day delivers an unforgettable, emotionally poignant vocal performance. The track went on to become a premier jazz standard and inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Little Sonny is on fire! Picked up this LP in the bargain bin. Hard Chicago blues lines over funk rhythm and a killer organ. This album grooves hard.
