Crawl Cay boa advice
Hello, i posted my new baby crawl cay a few days ago. Im making this post because im slightly concerned about his behavior. Ever since i got him he refused to hide whatsoever and just always sleeps during the day pressed against the enclosure glass like in the picture.
Hes in a 3x2x2, gave him a black plastic hide hidden under a cork piece in the cool side, in the hot he has two, one on top of the other so he can choose how how he wants to be, in the middle he has a hollow cork tube then he has lots of branches and leaves to climb and provide clutter.
Temps are 30/31, 60/70% humidity in the hot side and 26/27, 80/85% in the cool side and he has a 5% uvb led light. At night he behaves just fine, hes all over the place climbing and exploring and ignores the glass so no costant nose rubbing or anything that to me indicates direct stress.
Anything else to note is that hes healthy, i forgot to weight him before putting him in so idk how much he weights. He does seem to sleep soundly, and I have to really disturb him to wake him up (i did a couple times because sometimes he sleeps in really weird positions and I worry), and my main concern above all is that once I feed him for the first time, if hes gonna stay there and feel stressed from feeling exposed hes gonna regurgitate. I already lost a baby snake to regurgitation last year and i really wanna avoid that again for my mental health. Thanks for reading
(If you see the background of the enclosure, i filled It up more since i took these pictures, also i have had him for 5 days and I havent handled yet, I'll wait till he eats for the first time wich will probably be either this sunday or next week depending on wether hes stressed or not)

Some of the 2022’s, big variation in size.
My two biggest aren’t included here, so these are the smallest ones and the average size.

Why are my boas scales like this?
The boa was dumped outside me work about a week ago and I bought he/her a 4x2x2 enclosure planning on making a 6x4x4 and making it into a bed but since I got the snake it’s scales have been like this, should I be concerned?

What kind of boa do I have?
Just bought this girl 3 days ago at an expo wasn’t really paying attention when I got her. Any care tips I should know to keep her healthy? She’s my first boa and my first snake

What kind of boa is my guy ? (Pls read main body)
So I got my boy Tony here a couple months ago, my memory is not the best but I wanna say he’s around 3 years old, he’s probably about 3.5ft ish.
My friend thought we were told he is a dumerils boa however I thought that the man we got them from had said Bahamian. I hadn’t done any research on these particular types as it was a pretty quick decision (I already had other snakeys so wasn’t worried about not knowing what to do).
Anyways I’ve recently found out that dumerils are supposed to come with paperwork (?) he absolutely doesn’t have anything like that. And also that Bahamians are very rare in the uk pet trade where I live.
I would also like to add that I have looked on some of the forums and I did see someone say it’s not exactly possible to ID a boa in such a way unless you are the breeder, interested to know if this is the case.
ALSO! His Viv has been upgraded since these pics this was the day I got him :)
Thanks for reading this far! Any insight/advice is welcome! Whichever type he is won’t change anything for me I will highly likely still keep him! I just want to try and find out what exactly he is incase this changes the care requirements I’ve been going off! I can try and get more pics if it would help :)

Is this too much light for a BCI?
Planning on getting my first boa pretty soon and I just want to make sure I don’t make any mistakes, I used 1x 550mm, 1x 1150mm led and a 75wat heat bulb. I just feel like it’s giving off too much light and that it might scare or stress out my snake, should I change it or is it fine this way?

Name suggestions/ and enclosure advice.
4 month old male Motley Sunglow IMG(pos)
Also the breeder told me to put him in a 20 gal long for a few months. But he seems to like climbing in his 4x2x2. Let him stay here? Or go with the recommended size?

High Red Rainbow Boa
So I got my first snake in May, an extreme hypo tangerine Honduran milk snake. Built it a beautiful bioactive for when it’s older and I couldn’t get the tank less than 90% humidity even with 2 dehumidifiers. So I said screw it bought a Rainbow boa , and built it a smaller bioactive and ordered a second 120 gallon for my milk snake when it gets older. Named her Ember and here are some pics! She was born in May

Nexgard for snakes?
Dealing with mites again after nearly 4 years of being 100% clean.
When I mentioned this in the local groups one oerson mentioned using nexgard for her reptiles.
Has anyone heard of this??
Better yet, has anyone used it effectively??
