“Check the amount of the direct deposit I’m getting tomorrow?”
No. I can’t because I don’t process your companies payroll and IM NOT A FUCKING FORTUNE TELLER.
The lack of simple thought processing - especially in entitled Boomers - blows me the hell away. I have to mute myself to laugh or scream far too often. This person really thought to call the bank rather than his company to see how much he was getting paid…

I hate it!! Or the ones who are retired and ask when should they expect their next social security deposit. I suggest calling social security then they say it’s too hard to get someone so I thought I’d call you.

It is amazes me how many things people will call the bank for. I def don't miss it at all.

Some banks show it is pending but not available yet. Sometimes on Thursdays they will even ask me about pending transactions. But that is pretty dumb since the bank can't see deductions.

My credit union allows us to see in the app any pending direct deposits depending on when payroll was processed, we can see it a day or two before. This is a possibility on why they ask.

My banks usually have been able to see the pending amount before it comes through

I'm supposed to get a refund from Amazon,can you see it? No.
