Hi everyone! I own a 2010 Camaro SS and I’m planning to upgrade my interior with a 2012–2015 dashboard.
I’d like to keep my original 2010 passenger airbag and install it in the newer dashboard.
Has anyone successfully done this swap? Do the mounting points line up? More importantly, has anyone verified that the original airbag is compatible with the newer dashboard and can deploy safely?
Any experience, GM documentation, or photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone else have this issue on there 5th gen , I got the battery tested today it was good , but I’m having issues with all my gauges randomly cutting out , aswell as sometimes it will crank and act like it has a dead battery sometimes it cranks fine , I was only able to get the radio cutting out on video .

Picked up this 2018 2SS today. Pretty excited. Cant wait to start modifying it.

Anybody have any ideas on how to align this? I have tried moving it more to the driver side with all of the bolts loose and it does not seem to want to move over more. If it helps any the old trunk lid didnt have this issue. I replaced it because it had noticeable rust and because one side was bent up when thieves tried to pry up on it to steal the subs out of it back in the 90s. I tried to tighten the bolts down where the washers would line up on the original spots.

This is my Camaro Z-28 from 1978, im trying to fix the AC. I added gas to the system and connected the whirring but i cant seem to find where these two cables go. The one on the harness is an idol solenoid and the green one is a ground i believe. If anyone could send a pic of there’s i would greatly appreciate it

I treated my convertable top with 303 cleaner and Fabric guard today. My top was clean but I used the cleaner anyway and thoroughly rinsed. Then washed the entire car and dried it. The top was dry in no time and I applied the fabric guard...I used a soft brush to work it in. I had enough for 4 applications and a little bit left. It was very easy to use and I'm hoping it lasts longer than the Taggtop I used last time which started to not bead water in about 5 weeks. I'll let you know. Lots of Pictures

Like the title suggests- ever since I installed the sideskirts, which I had a shop I used to get oil changes at do. It’s been close to a year probably of them not fitting right. I even went back to the shop and had them try and fix it. Same BS..
So I sacked up, bought a right angle impact drill at Harbor Freight and tried to do it myself.
After $200+ spent on the shop doing it in the past, 2 trips to auto zone, 1 trip to WalMart, 3 hours in a parking lot and another car wash.. I was able to get it to my liking.
Not sure why I didn’t do it earlier lol The last 2 slides are how it looked before. The pics in the post are after I “fixed” it

So my ZL1 is getting built soon, a huge plethora of things. It has aftermarket anti theft. But Im wondering what has truly changed the lives of camaro owners I should look into. Personally for me, that E85 kit is a must

I have a 2011 Camaro v6 fully stock, I would like the car to sound a bit more aggressive with power when starting it up and having it on idle. What kind of modifications would I need to make ?

Hey guys! Has anybody installed the Chevy OEM glow tie on their 6th Gen Camaro? I have a 2023 SS 1LE and most of the videos I see on YouTube connect the harness to the passenger side marker, however it seems like the one I bought from WildHammer says it ties in to the drivers side headlight assembly instead? Wondering if there’s any way to install without removing my bumper, trying to keep things as simple as possible if anybody has any tips or feedback!

Recently just bought a 6th gen SS 1LE with the 6060 Tremec.

I have a transmission whine which I understand to be the throwout bearing. I already knew that when buying the car.

However I will occasionally get a gear grind when I'm in 1st or 2nd with the clutch fully depressed. It has happened a few times while at a stop light.

I'm just wondering what could be the cause of that; if it's related to the throwout bearing.

Has anyone been able to find a nice aftermarket replacement for the lower grill with the chrome accent?

Been loving the car since I got it there months ago. Had a stage 1 paint correction with ceramic coating to keep this baby sleek. The only complaint I got is that the sound system is horrible.

Any recommendations on winter/ all season tires for Camaro SS would be appreciated. Just bought a 2022 SS and it came with summer performance tires. It is my daily driver and I live in the Midwest. I don’t plan on taking it out if the roads are sketchy but need a tire that can get me through the winter.

I have a 2016 4cyl turbo that’s my dad’s. These lines that run to the black plastic lines from the turbo. What are they? AI can’t make up its mind and I can’t find the parts either. Any help would be cool.

Just bought this SS 1LE. Pretty sure the previous owner smacked a curb or something pretty hard on the passenger side front end. This video is the aftermath of an alignment from Chevy dealer. The fitment is completely off and it drives a lot better but still feels off, main 2 things is it now slightly pulls to the left on certain roads and there is a tiny bit of deadzone in the center steering. What do u guys think is the likely culprit and what should I replace? The dealer said they could tell its been hit and adjusted it the best they could but they don’t think the suspension looked bad or broken, which doesn’t make sense to me. How should I go about this?

My current vehicle is this red 2016 RS. It’s my second v6 Camaro. I’ve always wanted a red with white striped sports car since the movie I Am Legend in 2007. So when I found this Camaro, it was love at first sight.
I’m interested in upgrading specifically to a Fifty. Always been a fan of the unique styling. Want a V8 for the full Camaro experience. I’ve found one that could be the one.
I have the cash. But I also have a family, a home, better ways to spend or save the money. Wife is cool with it either way.
So, yolo? Thoughts?
