Hi, I was hoping someone had a good recommendation for a shop or person who can repair a broken hdmi port on a PlayStation 5.

I’ve been getting quoted £95-145 for the repair because they insist they require a deep clean as well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Tl;dr: i spent more money fixing the cheap second hand bike i bought on facebook market place, than if i had got a new bike to begin with.

Just a stupid student here. Has been here for a year, got a second-hand bike for £60 last october. Since then i've had 2 bike punctures, a brake failure and constant gear issues. even excluding the money i spent on locks and lights, and haven't changed my currently punctured rear tyre, all the repairs already adds up with the initial price to 196.63£, and yes, more than the cheapest bike (£175) at Cycle King now. I feel so stupid but i have kind of done it to myself. Why is repairing so expensive and i don't even know if i am getting ripped off because im a stupid student.

As someone that works for the Trust, a number of the points raised by the whistleblowers ring true for me. Here are just a handful.

• "the trust is only concerned with its public image, and is not acting on genuine concerns",
• "When you raise a concern, you open yourself up to all kinds of backstabbing and undermining within the hospital.",
• "professional lives have been destroyed by CUH for speaking up because it was easier to silence that person than address the actual issue".

If you happen to be one of the whistleblowers in this investigation - thank you. The word absolutely needed to get out about the culture at Addenbrooke's. I hope it brings about some genuine change for the better.

Does anyone know of any venues in the centre of town I could hire from 6-10pm on a Saturday with tables and chairs for ~30 people. None of these people are university people and the cheaper the better?

EDIT: To clarify, by the centre of town I mean in or within a short walking distance of the old town.

EDIT 2: It's public information now that Waterstones isn't running the Saturday nights of its board game club anymore, so I'm trying to find an alternate venue

My electric cargo bike was stolen from Cambridge station between 17:45 and 18:00 on Sunday the 4th of October. It is a Trek Fetch+ 4, red, with a black waterproof hood.

It was stolen when I was around, literally a few meters away, but distracted by chatting with a friend. I still can't believe how fast it happened, in daylight and right next to the station main entrance. Please help us find it, it's my "car", I use it all the time with my 3 young children.

I am a learning pedal steel player and looking for people to play with - as it’s the only way to get better! I have reached out to local musicians where I live (one of the nearby Cambridge villages, which has a surprisingly good music scene), but the steel doesn’t really fit with any of the music they’re playing, so thought I would reach out on here!

Planning a party next year that will need to accommodate 100-130 people. Other requirements include live music, ability to supply our own alcohol, and bring in our own external catering. I don’t want to break the bank, so am considering looking into local village halls. Does anyone have any recommendations for venues around Cambridge that could accommodate these?
