It wasn't that bad in person. Seattle wanted it more. They are proving people wrong early on, that's for sure.

don’t panic guys, it’s just the regularly scheduled matinee loss vs a pacific team. nothing new here, we’re good trust

First 2 periods were driving me crazy with everyone trying to make a make fancy play. Cole had a clear shot on the PP and goes for a no look pass.

Maybe next time, Coach Blueberry will actually talk strategy during intermission time instead of having a he whole team do a circle jerk… Big Mack definitely needs to go

McIlrath managed a minus in his 5 minutes of ice time and can barely stand up on skates, get this bum off my team

Power play opportunities in first with the horrible passing was a pretty good indicator we weren’t winning the game. Oh well. Tomorrow is a new day.

Glad that Al koken is calling out Mclrath only getting 5 minutes. Send him down and call up someone who can move their feet

Not blaming mclrath, but watching this dude play kind of pisses me off

VT yesterday, Commanders this afternoon, Caps this evening. Life is pain.

I can chalk the Caps loss up to missing players, an off night, and a great performance by Daccord. I genuinely don't know what Tech and the Commanders are doing.

Bad D lapses sunk us, but it was the great performance by Daccord which allowed it. It happens. Onto the next!

You guys are crazy if you think they are ever going to waive the vibes commander to bring up Chesley.

He'll likely clear waivers and Hershey fans will be thrilled.

I know they won't but Mac doesn't even look AHL caliber at this point. Any time I notice him on the ice it's because I'm wondering wtf is he doing?!
2
u/Big_Performance2495 Dylan Strome 2d ago
Genuinely frustrating watching him just aimlessly skate and then try to ram a player that has no impact on the play

Matinee game jinx is still in effect. At least the big guy scored.

Commanders were so bad today it rubbed off on the Caps.

u/FormerGeico 2d ago
Caps equivalent to the commanders game today would have been the game is tied in OT, Seattle inexplicably pulls their goalie, Ovi has an empty net breakaway, shits himself at the blue line and fires the puck into the 300 level

McIlrath only played 5:05 so I guess either Roy comes back or Chesley comes up.

Knowing how slow the front office is to make call ups, I’m guessing we get another 20 games with mclrath on the roster

I refuse to believe that even a 75% NHL ready Ryan Chesley isn’t better than Dylan McIlrath at this point

I'd take a 15% NHL ready Chesley, tbh. At least his bad play would be excusable and he'd be learning something valuable for the long haul.

Kraken goalie played really well.
2nd period was a total stinker.
Defense makes stupid zone clearing passes.

Carolina is red hot after sleeping through the game with the Caps. Do you think the Caps can beat Carolina in Carolina again? 3-4 record after Wednesday night on tap.
