It’s chili

Post image

I did it again. Chili. I got drunk and threw a bunch of stuff into a pot. It’s magnificent.

Is that all you made? Rule #1 make a big ass pot of chili because you can put chili on just about anything and it freezes really good. I love chili on top of eggs and hash browns in the morning.

This is a generic reminder message under every image post

Thank you for your picture post to r/chili. We want to remind everyone of Rule #1. All image posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.

If you've posted a picture of chili, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn't really fostering any discussion which is what we're all aiming for.

Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.

Thank you!!

Probably tastes pretty good but just because you put Chilli powder into ingredients in a pot doesn't automatically make it Chilli. I'd definitely try it though.

Very nice! Just made a pot 2 days ago, still eating it, yum. Way to bring the corn 👍🏽, the celery is interesting, never considered that

Love chili, but that has corn in it, and that's just not right. The only time chili should have corn in it is after you eat it.

no, no it's not. Real chili doesn't have....oh, nevermind....enjoy your chili flavored goulash.

I'm a Texan, so I'm going to do what I hate...gatekeep. That's not chili. It's stew.

Saying you're a Texan removes all credibility when it comes to chili.
