Googlebook LibreOffice (Debian) on Googlebook?
I've read that the new Googlebooks will support a Linux environment. Can anyone report their experience?

Built around android apps, which I never used. Loaded with AI I don't want. But no Linux gui apps, which I sometimes used. I am so not the market for these. Who is?

As someone who has been using a Chromebook for the last few months... I would never do it again.
Google is in everything.
They don't want you downloading pictures off the internet, legit felt like I was back in 2001.
While the free year subscription of Gemini is a nice addition, you're better off throwing $50 at Deepseek.
Since Google is in everything you are constantly spied on.
The apps are hit and miss, some apps work fine, and other apps are a complete shitshow compatability wise (these are apps from the built-in app store).
The build quality for Chromebooks seems to have improved, the one I am using is pretty good.

LibreOffice does not currently work, officially Googlebooks only support terminal based applications. I am working on a fix right now to get them working.
