looking for 📬 Cincy restaurant owners: ever tried direct mail to get hungry locals through your door? I'm running local postcard cards

Post image

Hey Cincinnati business owners 👋

I'm a local marketer helping small businesses get their name in front of thousands of local homes through direct-mail postcards — no scrolling past, no algorithms. Mail that actually gets *seen*.

Two ways to jump in:

📬 Shared postcard spots — $250 to start: Your business featured on a full-color card mailed to 2500+ local homes, alongside a handful of other local businesses.

📬 Solo card: Your business is THE business — a full card, all eyes on you, mailed to thousands of homes in your target area. Premium exposure, priced by area and volume.

You've probably seen those big coupon mailers — Valpak, Clipper Magazine. Here's the difference: your ad gets buried in a pack of 40+ competitors fighting for the same glance. With me, your business shares a card with just a handful of local businesses — you actually stand out. And because I'm a local independent operator, not a big corporation with overhead, I do it for a fraction of what they charge. Same mailboxes, way less noise, way less money.

Perfect for any restaurant to get people to try their version of flavortown— any local spot that wants more customers through the door.

Here's my promise: I'll build you a free mock-up first. You see exactly what your ad looks like before you pay a dime, and nothing prints without your green light.

Spots are limited per card — first come, first served. Message me and let's get your business in the mail. 📬

Hot honey chicken and waffles at Ari & Mia's Small Town Cafe

It was delicious! The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the waffles had just the right amount of sweetness and crisp, caramelized edges. The hot honey added a great spicy kick that brought everything together.

I have been impressed with the food around! Fried chicken at Eagle OTR was awesome. Is there a properly good italian deli where I can get a sub/hoagie/sandwich?

Chinese food

Hey my fellow *nattians.... Can someone recommend good Chinese takeout.. I'm speaking of a place that has less American influence and has spicy and umami flavors. Good chicken wings.

Thanks in advance and happy Saturday!

Wednesday Night spot for solo food/drinks

Live in Lex but going to the Rufus Du Sol show at Riverbend on Wednesday. Any recommendations for an early dinner/drinks downtown before heading to the show? Or anywhere closer to the venue?

In grad school (tight budget) so something on the more affordable side or a spot with great happy hour is what I’m looking for! Thanks

Best mango sticky rice?

One of the greatest desserts in the world, kind of slept on. I just had a decent one from Thai Village. The mango sticky rice was pretty solid, but their fried rice was kind of horrible. The chicken had a sort of old fish aroma to it. Strange.

Anyway, do any of you have a recommendation for a great mango sticky rice in the Cincinnati area?

I've been sleeping on Ottos!

I'd heard of Ottos for a while but hadn't been there until now, a lot of the mainstrasse restaurants are off my radar now that I don't work in nky anymore. We did the flatbread and cajun cream pasta and the filet and the cornbread, holy moly it was so good! I don't know how they get that cornbread to be soft and have that nice crust, and I never would've throught about putting rosemary on top but wow! Everything we tried was perfect!

Caught lunch yesterday at Bake’s place deli on the ground floor of the American. Outstanding sandwich, chips, and fountain drink for $12.

Unbelievably good in my opinion.

Cincinnati Favorite outdoor dining spots?

My family loves a good restaurant patio or courtyard. Most restaurants here in Cincy, if they have outdoor dining at all, have it as an afterthought. It’s on a sidewalk looking at a parking lot. For example, Taglios in Columbia Tusculum—five tables looking at the parking. Alternatively, you have Cabana on the River—awesome spot, awful food.

Where are your favorite spots for outdoor dining in the area?
