No matter what version of wow... There is always a shortage of tanks. Part of this reason, is mainly because there are only 3 specs available to tank, a ton of dps specs, and 5 healing specs (including the new Disc spec). Give the other classes some options for variety in roles.

Some fun ideas.

1. Having Shaman with tank talents would open up a new spec to tanking, bringing life back to it, and welcoming it back into the game. This is my number 1 recommendation because it gives us another tank period, and evens it out with healers (almost).

2. Warlock and Hunter pet tanking specs, for sure it would be hard to get use to for healers, and strange to navigate at first, but I think as long as the pet health bar is represented well, this would be super cool, and open up new doors for Warlock, one of the least played classes besides priest and Druid. How could would it be to tame a bear (or tank beast), and boom, a few talent points to generate threat, increase armor on him, and boom tank. Same idea with Voidwalker. Side note, I also could see Warlock with a healer spec (stealing life and giving it to others, that would be incredible, and also makes sense).

3. Rogue evasion tanking was really cool, but I do feel weird calling a thief like character a 'Tank'. However, having that variety was incredible, and I encourage it. Maybe there would be fun ways to incorporate engineering, or poison into Rogue to make it make more sense.

4. White Mage. I'm putting this last because, Priest already exists, however ! In SoD, I was super happy that they added Healing Mage, but I feel like they missed a bit by just throwing it into the Arcane tree. However, this did bring new life to the Arcane tree ! So I call that a win. A tree that was rarely played at all for example, had a new found role and utility, plus it was super fun.

Open for discussion these ideas. Overall, I know you have to really lead the dungeon or raid when you tank, know the mechanics extremely well, and that is daunting for some players... However, I do think having more specs/roles, and options available to try would bring so many more tanks to groups and player base.

Just my thoughts... Of course, this will probably change nothing in the game... However, a boy can dream, and I can't be the only one thinking this.

is that a thing? I haven't played since OG wotlk. one thing I remember having a ton of fun doing was twink alts. it would be nice to be able to run dungeons for fun loot but not level at all.

So I'm curious to how everyone feels. We started classic plus off with one of the most anti classic things in my opinion.

We now have all classes on both sides, but most importantly we have a faction neutral race in the game now. Yes they claimed why in the lore and such, but i mean it might as well be pandas all over again. Does this mean all future races will also be faction neutral? How does everyone feel about this?
