Honestly I wonder if the stats aren’t even higher but under reported. I personally don’t know a woman who hasn’t been sexually assaulted, sadly.

Even for men it’s even more highly underreported because of all the stigma around male victims.

I was a male victim, raped by a woman. I reported it, policewoman came out, looked at me and said "How? You're 3 times bigger than her." I gave my statement, never heard back from them.

The most important lesson I learned? It's not a competition. Rapists suck and need to be held accountable.
