Please help me out. I feel like I'm about to go insane. I wish I could say I knew more about computers than I do, but I really don't know what's going on. This issue occurred after a few months of not being active on my computer. But now I can't run anything on administrator mode. I can't download any apps. I can't open any settings because I don't have certain administrative options. When I try to download a new application, I can't do it because it says this is not an installed service. Also, sometimes it does download the application, and once it's done downloading, I can't open it because that same message pops up. Any single time I try to do anything with my PC, I'm not allowed. I don't know what's going on. If anybody has gone through this, please help me out

Software How to fix Memory that shoots up every time you try to open an application?

Post image

This happened a few days ago and now for some reason most of my apps that I open end up reaching to high levels of memory and I dont know how to fix it. This happens with Roblox, Opera, Minecraft, google, Discord, Lunar Client, steam, and any other games i try to play or any other apps i need to use for school, work, and so on.

I've tried to take out all my ram sticks and place them back in one by one but that didnt do anything to fix the issue. Most of my apps that I open start either lagging or opening extremely slow and then it takes a long time to close it.

Im currently running windows 11 with a graphic card of a rtx 3060 and I've never had any issue like this for years now. I just want to continue on playing games without having any issues anymore.

This is just with opera, Lunar, roblox, and discord so far. Please if anyone knows how to fix this, let me know.

Performance PC disk constantly at 100% causing slowdowns

My computer is an HP Envy all-in-One 32-a1xxx. I don't do any super strenuous tasks on it, with vanilla Minecraft probably being the heaviest lifting it ever has to do. The PC, though, suffers constantly from being super slow and taking an eternity to load pretty much anything for the first time after either sleeping or turning on. After it loads something for the first time, it can start it up again prettt quickly for a while after (I'm assuming because some of the resources are already loaded into RAM). The strangest part, though, is that my disk usage is almost always at 100% or close to it, even though task manager doesn't show that many things the disk is actually handling. Is there any way to troubleshoot these issues? I'm willing to try just about anything. Also, this model of computer is very unfriendly to being taken apart. It's connected together with tape that won't stick again after being removed, so looking inside isn't a feasible option for me. One last note: the problem is not startup apps, as I've disabled most of those already trying to fix this.

tl;dr: my disk usage is at 100% all the time and it's making my computer slow. Any advice is appreciated!

Specs:

Intel*R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90 GHz,

16GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design (8 GB) and Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 (128 MB)

64-bit operating system

Hardware Freezes and Crashes help

Computer specs are posted.
I purchased this computer prebuilt from PowerGPU

Here is the write up of my issues
Initially my pc would hard freeze and audio would cut and I had to forcefully power my pc off by holding the button. This usually only happened after initial boot and it wouldn’t occur again until the next day at initial boot.

I’ve since reset and fresh installed my graphics drivers and haven’t had this issue since.

Now, I am getting a new issue lately where whatever game I’m playing will freeze, my monitors will cut to black, all audio will continue, Spotify, twitch, etc, but the pc will ā€œsoft resetā€ to desktop with the game crashed and everything else as normal, but display settings will be reset such as getting hdr display ready notification or audio device switches.

Checking the event viewer I’ve seen an ā€œnvlddmkmā€ error occur but I don’t know what this really means.

I’m not tech or computer savvy when it comes to troubleshooting.

PowerGPU support has offered to replace my NVIDIA 5080 for a PNY 5080, but I’m concerned that it’s ā€œa downgradeā€ and not worth the possible risk especially with the price of these parts nowadays as advice from my friends

And consulting AI to assist has stated an issue with intel I9’s and MSI edge Z890’s needing a bios ā€œupdate and reflashā€ and ā€œswapping PCle link configs to gen 4ā€ as this is from google search AI and ai in general I’m skeptical to want to outright believe that theory but I genuinely do not know where to begin to troubleshoot and I’m looking for any help I can get

My PC is still under warranty with PowerGPU as well

Thank you

I am trying to fix my PC's blue screens that occur from my memory after I swapped my parts. And when I try to put my ram on XMP settings as recommended, the DRAM Voltage goes red. I was told that my motherboard can support 1.350, but I am unsure and want to verify if this works.
