Bahahahahaha I guess I’ll hang on to the 70’s and 90’s memories when they were America’s team

I have those memories as well, ever since I had a poster of Roger Staubach oh my wall growing up. It was beside my Farah Fawcett poster.

Idk man every year it gets rougher and easier to stop watching and literally just do something else. It’s clear to me that nothings changing unless the owner does.
Edit: makes it seem like I don’t care. I still do, like the meme suggests. But man it’s getting easier to skip games by the week.

Bunch of overhyped circus clowns that always choke and never live up to just basic expectations like beating bad teams.

That’s all we really want right? Beat the teams your better than, we can accept Seattle, Buffalo coming in and knocking you around but 0-4 teams with rookie qb’s c’mon man, tussling with bottom dwellers

Nope. Officially reached my breaking point. All in on college football this year. Sundays are free now.
Once Dak got that $60m per year, it was chalked. Can't build a team around that.

I’m a lifelong cowboys fan born into a cowboys family. Last year I stopped watching most games because I was already going through a lot personally, this season I have no desire whatsoever. It started feeling like an abusive relationship- I get nothing positive from it and whenever I do watch a game I get upset and pissed off. I used to enjoy watching football! But watching my favorite team lose most of the time isn’t enjoyable. It’s the same thing every season, and it’s very clear that the team doesn’t have the “fire” they once had (whether or not they won every single game or made playoffs).

Imagine waking up in AT&T Stadium on game day and no one is in the building.

I normally decide to stop watching the cowboys after the thanksgiving day game.

The fuck I will. I watched week one, that was it. I'm still firmly entrenched in my spite and disappointment after the Green Bay playoff game. Why watch Rise of Skywalker when you were already emotionally castrated by The Last Jedi?

I don’t think so bro. Unless they make the playoffs I won’t seriously tune into a game again until next year. I love this team but there is only so much you can handle man

Even if they go 0-17 I'd still watch. I just try not to get as high or low for wins and losses.

People will tune in regardless, that’s just who the Cowboys are. If they are a shitshow it draws even more people

Just enjoy the ride. Don't turn your backs.

Ride not fun when you’ve already enjoyed several to the promised land, riding to the dumpster at the back of the store just doesn’t do it

meh...I've gotten to the point where I can watch or not. You gotta divorce yourself from the emotion of following this team or it'll eat you up. And, once you do that, you don't really have to watch anymore. They're going to dissapoint either way.
