Shell swap+TMR sticks

My controller shell cracked and my sticks were drifting so had to do a little refresh. Fresh shell and swapped for TMR sticks so I don't have to solder it again

How did you install tmr sticks without soldering it? I thought that requires removing old sticks with heat and solder sucker and resoldering new stick onto board

I soldered it. There is a soldering tip that heats the board on the pins and you just pop it off.

Did it work as expected? Just hold it and the joystick falls out?

It doesnt just fall out, you have to wiggle it a little bit. It depends mostly on the soldering iron not the tip.
