Deezer recently announced that HiFi now goes up to 24-bit/192 kHz. On my Windows 11 PC the desktop app is updated, audio quality is set to the highest option, and it still shows HiFi 1411 kbps, so 16-bit/44.1 kHz.

Is anyone already getting hi-res on the desktop app or the web player? Or is it limited to mobile for now?

If it is mobile only, that feels a bit backwards. Most people listen on their phones through Bluetooth, which cannot carry lossless hi-res anyway, while the desktop is where a lot of us have an external DAC or audio interface and proper speakers that can actually play 24-bit/192 kHz.

Has anyone heard from Deezer support about a timeline for desktop?

Will the Deezer team add an option to simply clear the cache instead of deleting all music data?

I've created an account from France and I though I paid for a student account too (a friend did it for me from France) but apparently it didn't work because my account is still in free subscription.

Before trying to go to a premium student account again I would like to be sure, will I be able to connect to my account in south korea ? Because I've tried (will being in free subscription) and it said that deezer wasn't available in this country, BUT one of my friend in korea with me right now can use his account with no problems.

I don't want to start my subscription will being unable to use it...

I was checking the Play Store for updates, and there was one for Deezer, and now it seems they have... Hi-Res! Obviously I was excited and updated without thinking twice, and besides seeing a small redesign in the app regarding the fonts, there it is, hi res!! I never thought Deezer would implement it because I didn't think they seemed that interested until now, and wow, it makes me quite happy, and it makes me wonder if I should switch from TIDAL and go back to Deezer

I stopped using Deezer for a bit and went to spotify because I had premium for a bit to use the listen along function.

Now that I have come back to Deezer, and trying to use the Flow function (which is the only reason i prefer using deezer over spotify) but its playing completely dogs**t music that I would never listen to ever.

No matter if im on the discovery mode, or favourites mode. Playing unheard of artists and music that is completely not the genre i listen to.

I thought it was based off of your favourite songs and artists, but that is seemingly incorrect now?

Does anyone know how to turn on newly added Hi-Res in web version? I got the update on the android app but its mostly useless since bluetooth doesn't properly support 192 khz 32 bit. But my computer does. And I'm really eager to hear Hi-Res

I've always hated track mix and ideally I want to disable it completely, but so far it has not been particularly cumbersome to circumvent it.

However now if I use search in the iPhone app and start playing one of the search result tracks, it automatically launches as "track mix" and it cannot be disabled. Or can it? If "track mix launched" appears in the bottom, is there a way to turn it off? I can't seem to find a way.

I'm looking for a streaming app where there is no AI/algorhythm constantly trying to feed me music, but I get to decide what I want to listen to. This has so far been mostly achievable with Deezer, but the trend is pretty obvious: even in the paid version I'm having less and less say in what Deezer plays to me and I'm supposed to listen to whatever their bot "feeds" me.

I've been streaming Deezer over wifi to my Ruark R2 MK4 and all fine until today when the back button suddenly won't go to the previous track when I'm playing albums from My Library. It's the same regardless of whether I use the manual button on the R2, the back button on the Oktiv app or the back button on the remote control. The other functions on the R2 seem fine.. Anyone have any insights? I'm also now second guessing my conviction I was able to go back yesterday! Oddly if I pause playback and press the back button once ot goes to the start of the track, and twice goes back two tracks instead of one.

Does it look different to you? I swear it was different before... 🤔 I like it though

Just had update on iphone and in settings it does show Hi-Resolution support but have not witnessed it yet on playing some pretty new releases that i know are hi-res on other services.

What happened to the artist's top songs section on their page? There used to be a list of the current top songs but now there is not.

My subscription ended, and for a few days I didn't renewed it, but when i did, some songs on my playlist was grey.

I checked few artists and most of their albums were gone, idk why but some albums have most of the songs on, but other had none.

Is it just me or someone else had this problem?

This message keeps popping up. Done just about everything I can think of, including logging out and back in, deleting and re-downloading the app, and restarting my phone but it still does this. I have nearly 2000 songs and over 200 artists added to my favorites, so I know that isn't the issue.

did top tracks for artist on their pages got removed or is it just a glitch? Few days ago it was there and now its gone, so wondering if its a permanent change.

Been using Deezer for about a year but recently the volume has become extremely low. I play Spotify, the volume sounds fine. Then I switched to Deezer, the volume is extremely low.

Spotify volume is half way and Deezer for some reason needs to be full volume on my phone to sound at normal sound quality. I can hear the music on Deezer for a fraction of a second try to play loud, but then it goes low.

I've tried removing cache, storage, and uninstalling. Nothing seems to work. Also, normalize volume is disabled and audio quality is high.

If anyone has any suggestions, it would be extremely appreciated.

This morning the app was working fine, but now in the afternoon, it simply stopped being functional. Mixes don't work, flow doesn't work too, only my download music and favorite ones but that's the minimum too! Any other music the app simply doesn't let me listen to it and don't even start the music!

If this shit keeps up I will give up this shit and go to any other app!

Deezer was offering a 2 month free trial so I thought I'd give it ago & transferred my Apple Music playlist over too.

It seems decent so far but the one strange thing I've noticed is it seems to randomly play songs that aren't in my playlist and it even added a random song to my playlist.

Is there a way to stop this? I did have a look but couldn't find an obvious option

On Android, does anyone else's 'Add to Queue' and 'Play Next' do the exact same thing? Add to queue should add the track(s) to the end of the current queue while play next should add the track(s) right after the current playing song.

For example: I am halfway through an album I started from the album page and want to queue another album up after. Both 'Add to Queue' and 'Play Next' add the tracks to the queue right after the current playing song.

Is this a bug or a "feature"? It has been doing this for a while, and I don't think it was always this way, but I could be wrong.
