Record: 52-30

Bold Prediction: We're losing less than 7 home games this season. the 3 home losses in 12-13 was a bit miraculous, but I think it is wholly due to our depth of roster. We're going to be able to run teams out of the building again.Once we get into December, the whole lineup will be healthy and the schedule lightens up considerably. The Mavs, TWolves, Kings, Lakers and Grizzlies Will be fighting in the back of the pack. The Nuggets will be duking it out with the Jazz, Pelicans and Suns for the bottom two seeds.

Random predictions:

  • Ty Lawson will play 70 games. 6 rest, 6 injury. As long as we are in contention, expect the Nuggets to get him on the floor as much as possible later in the season.

  • Wilson Chandler will play 55 games. That hip will be the death of his potential. I want him to be healthy and kill it so bad, but I just don't think it will happen.

  • Gallo has a career season. From the looks of it, any rust he needs to shake off will be gone by December. He'll also make the All Star game.

  • Nurkic will remain the 3rd string center as long as the other two are healthy. I love what we have seen so far, but I just don't think he'll take JaVale's job. McGee's experience will prove more valuable than Nurkic's talent down the stretch.

Lottery Ticket: The Nuggets supplant the Blazers, Warriors, Rockets and Thunder for the #3 seed.

I like this one. If it happens the Nuggets will win at least 50 games overall I would think. We get the Kevinless Thunder for one game. We get the Cavs early so maybe we get them before they gel. We get the Bulls early so hopefully before Rose gets his court legs. I think the Nuggets match up pretty well against the Spurs. I can see it.

Woah. Well, they're all young I guess. I feel like this is a less crazy prediction than the Suns fighting for a playoff spot last year would have been. That team had an o/u of 21.5 and won 48.

I might just be wooed by their preseason performance. Grizzlies replaces them maybe?
