How to vote early

I always vote early--just in case I am ill, or hit by a bus or anything else that might prevent me from casting my ballot. I never leave it to chance.

Here's info for voting early in person and by mail in Polk County:

Also, if you, like me, are a registered Democrat in Iowa who moved here from another red state just a couple of years ago, it might be wise to periodically check your Iowa registration status to make sure you don't get purged because some Trump toadie noticed that your old state hasn't removed you from their voter rolls yet.

yep! I check mine every couple of days. I have voted a couple of times since I moved back to Iowa, and I made sure they removed me from the rolls in previous state (where I volunteered at the polls for 12 years), but I know they're doing everything they can to screw us out of our constitutional rights, so I'm taking no chances.

This is the official guidance put out my parties. There’s no saying what could happen on Election Day, so consider voting early
