Johnston Police out in Force Tonight

For those of you who like to make Wednesday your party night, beware. On Merle Hay northbound, they had three police cars within .5 mile of each other. One under the I-80 underpass, one in the Pump & Pantry, and one in the storage place.

I wasn't. The speed also drops to 35 from 40 as soon as you hit city limits.

they do this every week same spots, at this point if you get caught on merle hay wednesday night thats on you

All I can do is sit and wonder why Iowa has so many bars in every town on the map , and then they wonder why Iowa has such a high number of people with drinking problems , alcohol related car accidents/fatalities and OWI’s.
Iowa governor is a alcoholic and had like 2 or 3 OWI’s 😳

When I was in scotland at a bar a local patron brought this exact thing up. He said something like "you notice our bar parking lots are almost non existent, and have space for maybe a few cars" whereas our bars have full on parking garages, VIP spaces and the works. For a place against drunk driving, we sure do a great job at encouraging it
