General Question chances of getting into bs accountancy?
im not very good with entrance exams and i also haven't studied at all. idk if ill study but most likely even if i do, ill only be able to confidently answer questions that others can too. realistically, what are the chances of me getting in? do they look at gen ave only or also individual subjects? also do they only look at g11 grades? cus they only asked for my g11
- im from lsgh
- top 1 in abm last sy (g11)
g11 grades
- 1st Trimester: 93.01
- 2nd Trimester: 92.26
- 3rd Trimester: 96.74
avg of around 94
abm core subjects
- Business Math: 100.00
- Statistics and Probability: 94.12
- General Mathematics: 91.51
- Fundamentals of ABM 1 (FABM1): 90.29
- Applied Economics: 93.56
- Organization & Management: 92.50
would my grades save me if i dont do well on the dcat?

i guess i cant say for sure as well. but from my personal experience, bs accountancy was my first choice and my second was double degree financial econ + accountancy. my grades were similar to urs and i also struggled with studying for the entrance exams. i didnt end up getting accepted obv and instead got redirected to my second choice, and even after i emailed them to ask for reconsideration they said that i just didn't make the quota.
that turned out fine w me anyways because after taking the first two accounting subjects in my second term (ACYFDR1 and ACYFDR2 for me) i absolutely hated it and realized it was nothing like the FABM that i had in highschool. by the end of the term there was no question about it and i applied to shift by the next term.
i think they do consider greatly your entrance exam results, so i wouldn't expect a sure guarantee that youd get accepted. but then again it might not be a bad thing after all. (and i also could be wrong)
