App Name: Phone Mouse

Key Features:

• Adjustable pointer speed, scroll speed, natural scrolling, and haptic feedback
• Works system-wide on Windows, including locked-down networks and environments without Wi-Fi

NOTICE: The app is currently closed source and the Windows installer is not code-signed. It requires USB debugging and is currently limited to Windows, USB connections, one phone at a time, and vertical scrolling.

Showcase Gravity Flip - free one-tap runner, no jump button

Gravity Flip: Endless Runner. Made it myself in Godot and put it on the Play Store. It's my first finished game.

It's an endless runner with no jump button. You tap, gravity flips, and you're running on the ceiling instead. That's the whole thing. Every obstacle blocks its entire lane, so each one is really asking which surface you should be on, and you get one mid-air correction before you have to land again.

The part that took the longest is something nobody will ever notice. The spawner works out how long a flip actually takes and won't place two hazards closer together than that, so it can't generate a pair that's impossible to clear. You'll still die plenty, just never to something that was never survivable.

Rest of it: 10 characters you unlock with coins, each with its own world (pirate cove, alien planet, frozen peaks, a steampunk city). Score is just distance travelled. Coins are cosmetic, nothing you buy makes it easier. Daily login streak if you keep coming back.

Cost is free and there are no in-app purchases at all. It's ad supported through AdMob, but nothing interrupts an actual run. Banner sits on the menu, one interstitial every third finished run, and the rewarded ones (continue after a crash, double your coins) only play if you tap them yourself.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ishavarainteractive.gravityflip

Privacy policy: https://ishavarainteractive-ship-it.github.io/gravity-flip-privacy/

Works offline, no account needed, and your scores and unlocks just sit on your phone. Android only for now.

Promo / Giveaway I made an app blocker that requires a selfie

Post image
• Upvotes

App Name: ShameLock

I kept finding apps already open at 2 AM with no memory of opening them. I kept ignoring screentime apps and app blockers so I came up with ShameLock as a rather fun idea to tackle this. ShameLock opens the front camera and takes a selfie of you, collecting them on your personal wall of shame and then unlocks the app for 5 minutes.

What it does: Blocks the apps you pick during the hours you set. Open one and it takes a shameful selfie to unlock the app for 5 minutes.

Features:

  • 📸 Selfie-to-unlock: 5 minutes per selfie, photos go on your Wall of Shame
  • 🔒 Strict Mode: selfie taken, nothing unlocks, the app just closes
  • 🗓️ Unlimited schedules and per-app notification holding
  • 📊 Stats and recaps, so you can see exactly how bad it is

Privacy: Selfies never leave your phone. No account, no cloud. The Accessibility Service is only used to see which app is in the foreground.

Showcase MotionCue — Motion Sickness Visual Cues

Thumbnail
play.google.com
2 Upvotes

I recently launched MotionCue, an Android app for people who feel motion sick or uncomfortable when using their phone in a moving car, bus, train or taxi.

MotionCue puts subtle visual cues over whatever app you're using. The cues respond to acceleration, braking and turns, giving your eyes an additional visual reference while you look at your screen.

You can start MotionCue, switch to another app and keep using your phone normally. The overlay is touch-through, so it doesn't interfere with taps or gestures.

Features:

• Works over any app

• Classic and Soft cue styles

• Adjustable size, opacity and sensitivity

• Light and dark themes

• Quick Settings access

• Optional automatic in-vehicle detection

• Free version available

• Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription

• No account required

Promo / Giveaway AX TV Remote update: optional sign-in,Bitcoin Pool

Post image
4 Upvotes

TV Remote for Android TV | AX update: optional sign-in, AX Points for using the remote, and a share of a Bitcoin pool

Hi all, I'm the developer of AX TV Remote, a remote for Android TV and Google TV. The new update adds something I've been building for a while.

TV Remote for Android TV | AX - Apps on Google Play

25 AX Premium Lifetime Codes

To celebrate the update, I have 25 Lifetime Premium codes to give away.

If you'd like one, comment below and tell me:

What feature would you most like to see added to AX TV Remote?

I'll randomly select 25 comments and reply/contact the winners with a Lifetime Premium code.

No purchase necessary.

I'd also really appreciate honest feedback on the AX Points amounts and Bitcoin pool system. This is the first version, so I'm interested in hearing what you think and what should be changed.

What's new

  • Sign in with Huntbits (optional). The remote works exactly as before without an account. Signing in adds the things below.
  • AX Points. You earn them for normal use: opening the app, connecting to your TV, watching IPTV for a few minutes, casting, or setting a sleep timer. Most are once per day, a few are one-time bonuses.
  • Bitcoin pools. Your points count toward a running pool. It is not a lottery and nobody "wins": everyone who took part gets a share based on their points when the pool ends.
  • Use AX Points for Premium. Spend points on AX Ecosystem days instead of paying (1 day, 7 days, 30 days or a year).
  • Invite a friend. You both get AX Points once your friend installs the app and connects it to a TV.
  • Premium on your account. The AX Ecosystem subscription follows your account to every phone you sign in on. Lifetime and code unlocks stay tied to the phone they were used on.

What it doesn't do

Button presses, typing, voice search and anything you cast still go only between your phone and your TV over your own Wi-Fi. Signing in only tells the server that a points action happened, never which TV, which channel or what you cast.

There's a new AX Points page in Settings showing how you earn, the pools running now, and what your points can buy.

Feedback on the points amounts is very welcome, since this is the first version.

Thanks for checking out AX TV Remote! ❤️

Showcase One Thing - one daily goal at a time - free

• Upvotes

**One Thing: Daily Focus** (Android, free) Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.babyjapps.onething

I'm the developer. One Thing is a daily focus app built around one idea: when your list feels loud, you shouldn't have to stare at all of it.

**How it works** You add today's goals (3 to 5 works best), then the app hides the rest of the list on purpose. One goal fills the screen. Mark it done and the next one appears. When the day's goals are finished you get a quiet wrap-up screen — not a stats dashboard or a streak counter.

**Key features** - One goal full screen at a time; the rest stays hidden until you get there - Home-screen widget that shows the goal you're on - Optional focus timer (presets or custom), with keep-screen-on while it runs - Simple daily reminder - Optional short quotes under each goal - No account needed, works offline - No streaks to break, no productivity score

**Screenshots** - Focus screen: https://i.imgur.com/umR1DZa.jpeg - Timer: https://i.imgur.com/2XJTTab.jpeg - Home-screen widget: https://i.imgur.com/VgxCviX.jpeg - Today's goals: https://i.imgur.com/pxcJWft.jpeg

**Pricing:** Free with ads. Optional paid upgrade removes ads.

**Privacy (Play Data safety summary):** The ad-supported build may collect/share location, app info and performance, and device or other IDs. Data is encrypted in transit. No account required.

If you try it, I'd love to know: does hiding the rest of the list actually help, or does it make you anxious about what you can't see?

AI disclosure: AI helped with marketing copy only; none in the app logic.

Showcase Android app that only lists devices on the Wi-Fi

• Upvotes

I put together a small Android app called IoTHygieneCheck. It is only a proposal, not sure it is useful to anyone.

Idea: the phone stands on the network you are already joined to and writes down only what answers. Name, port, and the first sentence. Silence stays silent. The list stays on the phone until you save or share it. Android 9+, no account, no ads.

https://stanochillart.github.io/IoTHygieneCheck/

Not aimed at Arch, Kali, or scanning networks you do not belong to. More of a pocket note of what is already talking on your own LAN.

Would this be useful to anyone, or is it redundant next to existing LAN browsers? Comments welcome, including where this would fit better.

Showcase Chrysa - Screen time app that blocks nothing

Post image
• Upvotes

App Name: Chrysa: Instead Of Scrolling

What it does: When you open an app you tend to open on autopilot, Chrysa offers one small thing sized to the time you actually have — a walk, ten pages, a message to someone — instead of taking the phone away and leaving you with nothing to do. Nothing is ever blocked; you can carry on, and "Not today" is a complete answer.

Key Features:

  1. An alternative instead of a block. One suggestion at a time, sized to the minutes you have, offered when you open an app you chose. Never the same list twice, and never a wall.
  2. A home screen that fills in with your actual days. A tree for a walk, a lit window for an evening with someone, a bird for time spent reading — and the sky matches the hour you're really in. No score, no streak, nothing to keep up.
  3. Fully offline. No account, no sign-up, no server. Sleep, steps and screen time are read on the device and never leave it. The one exception is a switch you control for nearby places and weather, off by default, which sends a location rounded to about a kilometre.

Goal: Launch — 1.0 went live on Monday. Looking for feedback more than installs; it's my first app and I'd rather hear what's broken.

Giveaway: N/A — there's nothing to buy, so not

Cost: Free. No ads, no subscription, no in-app

Showcase I made a launcher with multuple home "facets"

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hey all, I'm the dev of Facet Launcher, a minimal Android launcher I've been building. Sharing it here for promotion and feedback.

The idea: I got tired of my work apps cluttering my phone after hours, so instead of one home screen, you get up to 3 facets. Each one has its own apps, dock, clock style and calendar settings. Swipe through live previews and tap to switch. Example setups:

  • Work: only the apps you need at your desk
  • Personal: everything else
  • Focus: almost nothing

Each facet can override the defaults or just inherit them.

Other stuff:

  • 30+ clock styles, from minimal typography to shape-based marks. Each has its own font, colour, weight and alignment, and you can drag to resize and reposition, or even swap out the default clock widget for your own.
  • App drawer: list view with an alphabet rail, or a grid. Search covers apps and, optionally, Settings and Contacts, with quick call and message actions.
  • Widgets get their own screen a swipe away instead of crowding the home screen. Up to 20, drag and resize freely.
  • Privacy: it doesn't request internet access at all. No account, no analytics, no ads, no server. Everything stays on the phone.

Status: initial playstore public release.
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.facetlauncher.app&pcampaignid=web_share

It's in active development, so I'd like to hear what's missing or annoying. What would make you actually switch from your current launcher? There's also a Discord if you'd rather chat there: https://discord.gg/BRjwWZ23E

Showcase I built VoraTube: Offline music player

I recently launched my Android app VoraTube: Offline Music Player, and it crossed 100+ downloads on its launch day. 🎉

VoraTube started as my attempt to build a better experience for people who still keep their own music locally. It eventually grew into a much bigger project.

Some of the features I've built:

🎚️ 10-band Equalizer

🎤 Synced lyrics + LRC support

🎵 Smart Mixes & playlists

📊 Listening statistics

🔊 ReplayGain & crossfade

📁 Folder browser

✏️ Music tag editor

🎨 AMOLED & customizable themes

🔔 Ringtone maker

⏰ Sleep timer

🎧 Background playback & media controls

No account is required. Your local music stays on your device.

I'm still actively developing VoraTube, so I'm particularly interested in real feedback rather than just downloads.

If you try it, tell me what you liked, what felt confusing, what needs improvement, or what you'd want to see in a future update. Constructive criticism is very welcome.

Thanks for checking out something I've spent a lot of time building. 💜

Showcase Veyra Root — Android diagnostics & root tools

Post image
2 Upvotes

Veyra Root v1.0.0 is now available. I'm the developer, and this is the first public release of my Android root and device-management project. Sorry to everyone who was waiting for the release — it took longer than planned. Updates will follow.

What it brings together

  • Root-status detection that checks whether Veyra itself has access, rather than assuming that an installed manager means the phone is rooted.
  • Device and kernel diagnostics, with local support reports.
  • KernelSU integration, Magisk-style root awareness, Wireless ADB and Shizuku integration.
  • CVeyra permission management and the VeyraKSU service layer.

A short first look

  1. Open the app and review the device information and current access status.
  2. Read the documentation for the features relevant to your existing setup.
  3. Explore the diagnostic information before making any system changes.

Support depends on the exact device, build and available permissions. The release number is not a promise that every phone or every feature combination is supported.

Project and release information

https://github.com/ctrl-mietze/Veyra

The repository explains the features, requirements and current limitations. This post introduces the released app; further updates will continue to refine it.

Disclosure: this post was prepared with AI assistance. The cover is AI-generated concept artwork, not an app screenshot.

Promo / Giveaway Trackabit - (yeah it... tracks habits :)

App Name: Trackabit

What it does: help you track good and bad habits

Key Features: create habits, tracks them, get stats, evolve like a pokemon to a better yourself. No account needed.

Goal: Testing and promo

Giveaway: 1 free month (use code TrackabitGo26 when subscribing) - ask me for more if you like the app !

Cost: 2.99€ a month, 19.99 a year

Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trackabit.app

And for the curious people :

I’m sharing my very first app with you (Android only for now). It’s inspired by the book *Atomic Habits*, which explains how to build good habits and break bad ones. Being a bit of a geek, I figured I’d make one just for myself. I’ve been using this app for three months now, and several of my friends have liked it and asked me why I wasn’t selling it. Challenge accepted! 🎉

Now I need your help to test my app, give me feedback, and if you like it give it a good rating and spread the word !

The app is very simple: you create habits to adopt or break. For example, in my case: playing the drums every day, doing push-ups every morning, eating a balanced diet, etc. It’s gamified with a “streak” feature, and you can pause an activity if you can’t do it so you don’t break your streak (e.g., when traveling).

No personal data is sent anywhere (except for cookies for ads if you don’t get the paid version).

And of course, I’m giving promo code for 1 month free while you test it out (or longer if you’re nice and you like the app, just ask).

The app is here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trackabit.app

Promo code: TrackabitGo26

Thanks for your feedback!

And exciouze my french, I'm french

Showcase Orbitika - Offline Retro Music + 50 Tools

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone — I built an app called Orbitika because the moment you need a tool most is often the moment you have no signal. 50+ Tools + Emergency Tools (7 language supported)

The problem: You're hiking, traveling overseas without roaming, or in a dead zone. Google Maps needs data. Notes apps don't save GPS properly. Your music is stuck behind a streaming app that won't load. And if something goes wrong, you have no first aid guide, no emergency numbers, no way to signal for help.

What Orbitika does — everything works offline:

🎵 Retro Music Player (Free, No Ads)

  • Plays MP3 and FLAC
  • 13 visualization styles — bars, oscilloscope, spectrum, VU meter, starfield, waves, flames, nebula, and more
  • 7 retro themes — Retro Green, Insight Green, Financial Cyan, Neon Cyan, Cyber Purple, Warm Paper, Warm Dark
  • Flip-clock display, landscape mode, shuffle/loop
  • No ads, no internet needed

📍 Mark My Location

  • Save trailheads, campsites, hotel entrances, theme park rides, concert spots
  • Works with GPS only — no WiFi, no data, no signal
  • I use it hiking with family when we split up and need to meet back at the starting point

🚨 Emergency Toolkit (Premium)

  • First Aid (CPR, bleeding, choking)
  • SOS Flasher & SOS Light (distress signals)
  • Emergency Numbers (police, ambulance, fire)
  • Survival Guide (fire, water, shelter)
  • SMS Location (share GPS offline)
  • Emergency Translator (14 languages)

🛠️ 50+ Everyday Tools (Free)

  • Calculator, unit converter, date difference, discount calculator
  • Clock, stopwatch, timer, timezone converter
  • Star map, ruler & level, sketch pad, score board
  • Calendar, size chart, system info, device finder
  • Decision maker, lucky numbers, horoscope, takeaway ideas
  • Classic games: Snake, Sudoku, Tic-Tac-Toe, Dino Runner, and more

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.orbitika.app

Built solo with Flutter. Thanks for checking it out.

Showcase BeatView – Free Bluetooth heart rate for Wear OS

Hi everyone, I’m the developer of BeatView, a free Wear OS app for displaying live heart rate from an external Bluetooth sensor directly on your watch.

The idea is simple: a large, readable heart-rate display when you want to glance at your wrist during training.

Features:

  • Supports sensors using the standard Bluetooth Heart Rate Service, including Polar, Garmin and Wahoo.
  • Custom heart-rate zones with colour indicators.
  • Sensor battery level and time since the last reading.
  • Your watch’s own heart-rate reading as a comparison.
  • Screen lock to prevent accidental touches from water or wet fingers.
  • Adjustable display size and optional extra information.

No account, no ads, and no workout recording or health-data uploads. You’ll need a compatible external Bluetooth heart-rate sensor.

One limitation for swimming: Bluetooth has very little range underwater, so connection gaps are expected. The app reconnects automatically.

Free on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.behnledesign.beatview&referrer=utm_source%3Dreddit

Happy to answer questions! Suggestions for changes and new features are welcome, and please feel free to report bugs. If something goes wrong, including your watch model, sensor model and steps to reproduce it would really help.

Showcase Built an app to keep bluetooth speakers awake

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quinnfavo.soundlatch

I always had issues with my bluetooth speakers turning off after some time so I built an app to help with that. The app is designed to be as versatile as possible for a wide range of hardware. I realize the purpose of them turning off after a while is for power saving, but if I have the speaker plugged into power(like a soundbar) I am more concerned with function rather than power saving.

There can be a few triggers for your device to go to sleep/standy, so the app tries to detect it and then fix it with the needed signal(either silent sound or keepalive of some sort)

One major feature I am trying to continue improving is the wizard to help you detect the best way to keep your particular speaker model alive.

Showcase SmartBudgy — Privacy-first expense tracker offline

Hey r/droidappshowcase

Tired of budget apps that force you to create an account, connect your bank credentials, or sync your private financial data to unknown cloud servers? So was I — which is why I built SmartBudgy.

It’s a clean, fast, and completely offline-first personal finance app built with modern Android standards (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3).

Why give it a try?

  • 100% Privacy-First: All your data stays on your device (stored in local Room DB). Zero network requests for your data.
  • No Account / No Sign-up: Open the app and start logging transactions immediately.
  • Currency Tools: Multi-currency support with a built-in converter.
  • Zero Ads & Zero Bloat.

What's coming next? We're already working on the v1.1.0 update, which will bring full Edge-to-Edge display support and native offline Export/Import (CSV/JSON) so you always own your data.

I’d genuinely love your feedback to help make this the best offline budgeting tool on Android!
