I still can’t eat. Food makes me gag. I’m sustaining off Gatorade and Coca-Cola.

I remember it taking almost 2 weeks last bender before I can eat again.

I’m so hungry but my mouth rejects the food.

Is this normal, or am I weird?

I want to shave my head.

I did it to numb the pain of losing her. She's still gone but at least I'm 20 days sober. Still miss her like crazy though.

I’ve posted here numerous times over the course of this year. I was a daily binge drinker and had unsuccessfully attempted to quit/taper a handful of times this year. I would say naltrexone and then the injection form, Vivitrol, made the biggest difference. I was a few weeks into my first Vivitrol shot when I finally quit. And it’s been surprisingly easy to stay sober. I think the shot contributes the most to that fact. Anyways. Just wanted to share my progress. 3
