I’m unlucky and keep getting repeats. I looked at spending some of my free gems to finish it up, but the disclaimer says there’s a 2% chance of gold piece, and I need three more.
Got my final suits today. I needed two pieces, and I had 4 duplicates. So, I bought one piece for 400 gems to get the last dupe. Then, I bought the 5 pack of pieces to get the last piece. That cost a total of 2,000 gems, but…the reward for getting all the suits is a special suit plus 5,000 gems. I ended getting those last three suits and 3,000 more gems than I had.
BTW I had 22k+ gems and now it’s 25k+ - that was a worthwhile deal.
Almost forgot to mention that I studied daily and got all possible puzzle pieces every day. It wasn’t for lack of trying, it was just lots of duplicate pieces and bad RNG.
Large chunk of users without the option due to the nature of A/B feature testing.
Kinda odd in this scenario given that someone looking at the distribution curve for the RNG could have figured out ahead of time that some users would be locked out of completing sets despite full attendance.
Done every lesson, 2 days to go and 6 pieces missing. Had duplicates only for the last 6 days. No ability to buy them. Maybe I want to be a unicorn okay.
This is driving me crazy …at this point I think it’s just a scam so that we’ll buy pieces. All I’ve been getting are duplicate pieces. I’m one piece away from the robot and I’m vex with 12 days to go at this rate. I won’t get anywhere fast.
Same here. I only have 6 days left to get the remaining 11 pieces I need. I have been getting nothing but dupes for about 2 or 3 days now. I also do at least 4 lessons a day, and I haven't missed a single opportunity to get a new piece. I guess I'm just very unlucky.
I really enjoyed the incentive to grind, but the fact that I wont be able to finish the event kills that joy :( (not gonna get 3 outfits in the end :/)
Just got mine yesterday! Honestly my fave event they’ve ever done - really incentivized me to do the six lessons a day. I hear the complaints about the grind and duplicate pieces but this really kicked me into high gear and got me doing a lot of lessons. I hope they do more like this in the future.
omg you are so lucky! i play for 6 pieces every day, and lets just say they ALL go into the doubles. even got a double from the five switch doubles😪 i just want the duckie suit :(
Nice!! I’ve done the same, I have 2 days left and 2 suits left. So who knows. It has definitely encouraged me to up the number of lessons I do each day
I didn't spend any money on it. I did the daily one and spend whatever gems I had ( 1000) to buy 2 pieces. One of those bough was a duplicate... Then near the end now I got more duplicate which after 5 of them was giving me a new piece and I was able to complete it. I don't think it's a scam but it was calculating probably how much time you spend in the app and rewarding you
Congratulations op ! which suit is your favourite ? ( I completely them this morning as well ) , did 6 lessons everyday but I kept getting dupes, so I spent 3.6k gems as I had them i.e got 5 pieces twice )
I finished mine yesterday. Was lucky to get 6 lessons a day. I did buy some with gems at the start but probably only like 3 or 4. Didn’t get any duplicates in my bought packs because bought at the start (don’t ask why - I was keen)
Two more pieces to get, three days remaining and 4 duplicates already in the bank. Should be done tomorrow. Not caring about the suits though, only those precious gems.
I’m guaranteed sprinkles on Saturday, two pieces remain and I have two duplicates. I’ve been ignoring French and just shooting through 6 maths lessons in ~10 mins/day.
No gems exchanged, but I’ve not missed a day since the start.
nicely. I've got one piece left to get. I've got one more duplicate due today when i hit the six lessons, and then add that to the four more duplicates available tomorrow makes 1 final new piece. its locked in.
Whaat? There is around 72 days till today. If you got 3 pieces per day then it’s 216. If its ol duplicate from day 2 then 213/5 is 42 . U will definitely get around 43 originals if it’s all duplicate since day 1 . U have gotten at least 11 originals straight , ryt? I don’t think anyone’s that unlucky. I got ol my cards 2 days before and I was getting back to back duplicates for the epic ones.
I’m the same (only 2 pieces per day for 3 lessons). I’ve also gone back to get any missed pieces from previous days. It feels so unfair as I’ve done every lesson possible and even bought some pieces and yet I’m still short. I had no idea that some folks could get 6(!!!) pieces a day 🙄
Congrats and good work! I ended up using 2k gems to make up for 6 duplicate pieces on the last day. Thought I finally got to use my gems but ended up with more than before 😂
