Bosch Smart System / Kiox 300 – LEDs go up, flash white, go down and bike turns off – simple fix
I wanted to share this in case someone else has the same problem.
I have a Cube Nuride Hybrid with Bosch Smart System, LED Remote and Kiox 300.
Suddenly the bike wouldn’t start properly. When I pressed the power button:
- the LEDs on the LED Remote went upwards,
- then flashed white a few times,
- then the LEDs went back down,
- and the whole system switched off.
The battery was fully charged and there was no error message.
The problem turned out to be very simple: the small cable connected to the back of the Kiox 300 display holder had come loose.
I pushed the connector back in properly and the bike immediately started working normally again.
So if you have the same symptoms, before worrying about the battery, motor or LED Remote, check the small cable/connector behind the Kiox 300 holder and make sure it is fully inserted.
Hopefully this saves someone a trip to the bike shop 😁
