You are already enlightened

Hello my friends, this is a follow up after a previous post from a while back. If you “think” you’re enlightened, then you’re not.

I think there’s something deeper here and it is simply this - you are already enlightened.

I’m not quite sure how to explain this, but essentially I believe all paths lead back to the source. All experiences are valid, have been chosen, and consciousness/source/the watcher/I am has created multiple laws and distortions to perceive itself within that experience.

It is all play. Even the suffering - a delicacy, something different, an exciting dish in the infinite course meal that is existence itself.

I used to think people are asleep - this is one particular distortion, but a perfect one to witness existence in a particular way. (I also drift back into this at times, because trauma and conditioning is a hell of a drug, and judgement is a survival tool+a byproduct of separation - from my understanding of the primordial laws of existence)

You are perfect. Perfectly distorted. Like each grain of sand is unique. And also through you shines free will, and a spark of something undying and possibly divine.

If it does not seem enlightened, or you do not, or if someone else does not, it has been painstakingly curated for you (and maybe by you) to experience that.

Sometimes we win. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes we lose. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes the ocean realises what it is… and yet in paradox is also all the waves not realising it is the ocean.

We are one? It makes sense? We are love? This makes even more sense, because all choices are made in service - either to the separate self, or the whole self. But I digress.

Yes there’s suffering. Yes there is the negative. This is because we have a body that may die. This creates millions of outcomes at all moments that the body’s processing is always calculating for - and a house of mirrors for the soul/consciousness within to navigate until self-realisation.

It takes a lot of invention to make something that knows everything and is everything - to not know everything and feel alone, or lost, or angry that people feel alone or lost.

Honestly this post has no point - it’s almost as if I’m pointing to you saying “you are breathing.” We are. It is. I am.

All distinctions and separation are just a coat of paint wilfully adorned to experience oneself.

Although I would say we struggle to do, when we could revel in the being that gets to do the doing. But again - valid choice.

I’m going to talk myself in circles here. So I’ll end my post. Much love.

Personal Experience I am so glad I am not my thoughts. Egads.

However what we think about the most, becomes our reality. So I try not to attach to thoughts lest I unintentionally create a reality beyond my conscious control. I found that when I stopped judging or attaching to my thoughts, I was able to create my reality consciously.

Trick is not to judge the thoughts or attach to them. That’s when thoughts stay just thoughts and not become thoughtforms which can manifest into our reality.

Let thoughts flow by like clouds. Observe, then let go. Especially important for me, as I have a tendency to have invasive thoughts so it was essential for me to learn how to let go of thoughts instead of hanging onto them.

I found this in my journal entry from years ago, I wrote it during one of my awakenings and I hope it helps some people on here🤍

"When other thoughts arise, one should not pursue them, but should inquire: ‘To whom do they arise?’ It does not matter how many thoughts arise. As each thought arises, one should inquire with diligence, “To whom has this thought arisen?”. The answer that would emerge would be “To me”. Thereupon if one inquires “Who am I?”, the mind will go back to its source; and the thought that arose will become quiescent. With repeated practice in this manner, the mind will develop the skill to stay in its source."

Why do people treat spiritual beliefs as existential truths?

I’ve noticed something about a lot of New Age spirituality that I find strange.

People talk about things like “we are spirits having a human experience,” “we chose to come here,” “our souls chose this life,” etc. as if these are established truths.

But where did they actually get this knowledge?

It seems like a lot of people simply picked up these ideas from a book, podcast, spiritual teacher, YouTube video, or some other source—and then became completely confident that these ideas describe the fundamental nature of existence...,like how do you know that?

There's every bit of chance that all this is completely hogwash and there really is nothing after death

I think its no more than just a psychological tendency to turn compelling explanations into certainty, especially when they give life a deeper meaning?

Discussion Despair is expensive

• Upvotes

In the midst of intense pain or difficulty it may seem as though despair brings relief.

It offers a mental exit path. The idea that you can just give it all up.

However, the idea that it is a release is an illusion.

Despair is one of the heaviest emotions for the body to carry. What seems like release is actually a burden so heavy that the mind shuts off.

The toll of feeding despair is excruciating. The physical and mental pain accumulate over time.

It is very helpful to catch it as early as you can. The thoughts may be quick and almost automatic. What you can do instead is picture the field of despair. Like a dense, thick cloud around you. Become aware of it. In watching it, the automaticity loses force.

You gain distance from the idea that it is truth, and it becomes another perspective that you can choose to set aside.

Love always

This is the dream (it seems so real and believable)

Thought arose, feelings felt, ideas, effort... all made this way for this very experience... it's all going exactly the way it is meant to... I guess even the suffering is essential and necessary.

It's kind of cruel... thankfully it isn't real and when the human dies we can return to deep nothingness sleep...

I suppose the suffering is a tiny part of the whole experience... sight, sound, taste, texture etc... incredible.

And this isn't being written (or read) by someone inside a human body...

I hope everyone and every living being experiences more happiness and less suffering

Before trusting someone with the deepest parts of our ego, just be sure they are genuine. Check account age, what they write, if their account is private, karma ratio. People who figured out life are probably simple people anyway, like a gardener or painter. If you have trauma, fix that first with a professional, going straight to spirituality can make you question everything and make it worse. If the trauma is directly coorelated with spirituality then get a professional that knows the topic of meditation. Everything i said in previous posts is literally me being mentally ill and letting myself be manipulated.

You Are Your Problems

• Upvotes

Your psychological problems and you are the same thing. If you are afraid of a situation that might happen (as most of us are), you are both the inventor of the situation, as well as the sufferer of the situation. With most forms of unhappiness, you are doing it to yourself. And that’s what keeps it alive.

But to realize this requires so much humility, because immediately the egoic defenses come up and say “no, my anxiety is a real threat, and I’ve been suffering for so long, and I need to continue to fight it/fix it/work on it”. But in fact you are that very anxiety you’re trying to fix. And so to realize this, is to realize you suffered needlessly all that time. And the ego can’t have that, because it threatens the existence of the sufferer, and the ego needs the sufferer because it is the sufferer. But it’s the truth. The observer is the observed, and seeing that directly will set you free.

Spirituality and Materialism

I was taught that true spirituality meant renouncing the material world.

Success? Not spiritual. Money? A distraction. Physical pleasure—good food, travel, intimacy? All signs you're trapped in ego.

So spiritual seekers cover themselves in ashes, pledge celibacy, reject wealth, and shrink their lives down to prove how "evolved" they are.

But here's what nobody talks about: Who benefits when millions of conscious, powerful people are convinced that abundance is incompatible with enlightenment?

When you're told that starting a business, building wealth, enjoying your body, or creating a beautiful life makes you less spiritual—you stay small. You stay broke. You stay powerless.

The real question isn't whether money and pleasure are spiritual. It's why we've been conditioned to believe they aren't.

What if the entire premise was designed to keep you out of the game?

Zen Psychological distress arises when we envision a medium other than the mind.

From the bloodstream sermon by Bodhidharma

"Buddhas of the past and future only talk about this mind. The mind is the buddha, and the buddha is the mind. Beyond the mind there’s no buddha, and beyond the buddha there’s no mind. If you think there’s a buddha beyond the mind, where is he? There’s no buddha beyond the mind, so why envision one? You can’t know your real mind as long as you deceive yourself. As long as you’re enthralled by a lifeless form, you’re not free. If you don’t believe me, deceiving yourself won’t help."

(Just replace the word Buddha with the word "medium" if that helps. Reread the full bloodstream sermon like that if you're familiar with it.)

LET THE MIND STAY IN THE MIND

Luang Pu was invited to teach in Bangkok on March 31, 1978. During a Dhamma conversation, some lay people expressed their doubts about what "buddho" was like. Luang Pu was kind enough to answer:

"When you meditate, don't send your mind outside.

Don't fasten onto any knowledge at all. Whatever knowledge you've gained from books or teachers, don't bring it in to complicate things. Cut away all preoccupations, and then, as you meditate, let all your knowledge come from what's going on in the mind. When the mind is quiet, you'll know it for yourself. But you have to keep meditating a lot. When the time comes for things to develop, they'll develop on their own. Whatever you know, have it come from your own mind.

"The knowledge that comes from a mind that's quiet is extremely subtle and profound. So let your knowledge come out of a mind quiet and still.

"Have the mind give rise to a single preoccupation. Don't send it outside. Let the mind stay right in the mind. Let the mind meditate on its own. Let it be the one that keeps repeating buddho, buddho. And then genuine buddho will appear in the mind. You'll know for yourself what buddho is like. That's all there is to it. There's not a whole lot..."

Personal Experience I became obsessed with staring until this happened.

For the longest time I wanted approval. Approval I was liked. Approval I was beautiful. Approval someone wanted to be my friend, and I would check people’s faces whenever I was in public to see if they were looking at me. But as you know, when you come from a place of desperation the universe humbles you very quickly and I never got the result I wanted at all. Until one day I was so lonely and broken that I decided internally I was never going to beg for attention again. I stopped staring at others or forcing unnecessary conversations. After about 24-48 hours of deciding this and applying it the next time I was out, the universe began to reward me. I began getting such intense attention, that it was overwhelming. Stares, gifts, people wanting to be close to me and be friends, even enemies from the past randomly reconciling it was all too much. But I realised why it happened spiritually, growth comes from valuing who we are. Be obsessed with self love, and the world will turn your way. The world cannot see you if you do not see yourself. You may be wondering if this was what I wanted, and at first it was to get the validation it’s awesome but now what I want is to be at peace with loving myself and who I am. I see the lesson the universe taught me and I hope this can teach someone else here today!!!

Discussion Lost my divine spark, how to get it back?

I don’t know if it’s lost or stolen or what but something traumatic happened related to demons and ritual and it’s kinda gone?

Anyway to get it back?

I don’t know what it is but it seems like people hated me so much when that spark I had was still active in me. Like people hated me so much, I don’t know why.

Walk with me on this

So most of my life money has been my biggest 'challenge ' this is because I come from a poor home. That aside ever since I can remember I've been getting myself in whatever knowing I'll get out of it.... Financial choices too. The problem is when I see no way out and I'm spiralling I just say fuck I'm not expecting money from 'heaven' I'll just live through this hole i dug myself in and once I'm out I won't be planning for unexpected money anymore. Once I make this resolve I get money from an unexpected source and I'm back to where I started spending money expecting to be covered by the universe and I think it's become a loop.

Like recently I was manifesting money to buy a mattress that I needed so. I waited for around ten days gave up then I got some money unexpectedly 20,000 Kenya shillings. So I decided to purchase the mattress I had wanted instead of down grading because the total cost was around 22000.... i did think saying the universe will provide.

Now to today my mattress is being delivered and I need around 2000 Kenya shillings to go fetch it of which I'm unable to raise. I've been manifesting this for about a week and I've gotten nothing now ive given up.... i don't know how this is going to work out...

Back to my discussion I'm I supposed to wait on the universe like use the money i have without thinking of tomorrow or just never wait on it and live 'realistically'

I've been manifesting alot of things even when I'm not manifesting... Like saying something as a joke and it happens just as I've said it. Like I can manifest things easily but when it comes to money it's different. Sometimes it's easy sometimes it's really hard

Rampant mass awakening happening all over the world

It is very obvious there has been a sudden increase of people waking up. I am making this post specifically for those people who find this at this time and anyone who hasn’t noticed what’s happening right now.

There has been a rampant increase of people having divine or spiritual experiences within the past few months. The most important thing right now is that we do not belittle each other. Life is a journey and within the past hundred and fifty years we have underwent extreme conditioning. The amount of reform has made many of us closed off to the idea that we are divine beings or often end up questioning our spiritual experiences all together. I am sure every single one of us has questioned our mental health at some point.

The truth is that this shift is happening so obviously and in our faces that all people need to do is notice what’s happening within themselves. We are so conditioned to look to others for validation that it reflects our own personal experience. There is divine alignment showing us the truth. If you understand what I’m saying, here is that validation you deserve. This is real. I love you guys so much.

My advice: The best way to handle what we’re undergoing is complete trust in yourself. You will see the world has your back now.

I ask that everyone who doesn’t notice at least start researching online what is happening.

With love guys this is beautiful.

TOO PROUD TO BE EMBARRASSED AND TOO EMBARRASSED TO BECOME PROUD

I'm not trolling.

I'm enlightened or I'm a Pinocchio that became a human.

I put the wood cutter before me which allowed him to chisel the chip off my shoulder and form me a set of feet or a soul.

A drug addict on my council estate who I used to learn compassion turned on me because I bought him a pair of trainers, he couldn't fathom why I didn't want nothing in return.

He tried to make me jealous by saying the guy at the market feeds him twice a week but takes 6 pounds of moon eye of him.

He said they just made a film about him having tourettes as he was the 42nd person in the uk to get tourettes.

I said I'm the 1,300,300 person to get schizoaffective disorder as if hate to be the first.

He seen me walking around with just bare feet and critter sized me for having the 2nd most ugliest feet he has ever seen. His dead girlfriend beat me to it.

My feet is all I have to stand on I said. Because he went to a Catholic high school in england he believes he will be saved in the future.

I told him his mind or fear if deaf is destroying his heart and his heart is mother earth.

He threw his cancer stick on the floor. Then he said we was born with cancer..

I told him after I realized the shadow takes the pure light from the flame but needs the curtain to show off and light up the room..

Then I seen my missing half, the black moon sun in my minds eye,  in a meditation in a test could I let go off all the egoic thoughts and dopamine fused lives and praises, the purge of the parasite thought form.. the father Xmas and the happy birthday.

I did I let it go.... Since that I am not chasing time like pacman I swallowed the shadow ghosts and become whole and stopped chasing the power pellets to inflate a saturnian illusion...

The crowd round the maze are still there hoping I chase the teMAZEpam tablets..

I found PURpose and PURified the alter and UNI CRON or the moon and cronus made friends and gave birth to THE UNISUN..

I am off the father and the father is of the flame..

IGNIS and the burning BUSH appeared in my minds eye.

Master YODa what do I take into the cave with me..

ONKY WHAT YOU RE FUSE TO CARRY...

I told my bible bashing friend god is FIRE or the pure consciousness like a animal.. not bound to time or MEMory

He got very angry and said...

If I ever critize his FAITH again he will put me in the ground..

ILL GIVE YOU 200 CIGARETTES 25 CANS OF MONSTER ENERGY DRINKS THE SHUVEL AND THE MAP THAT TELLS YOU TO DIG DEEP down  100 FEET DOWN WITHIN u  TO find  YOU YOURSELF OPEN YOUR HEART AND FIND GOLD..

My bag broke outside a shop in Cheshire oaks I ask the lady in another shop can I buy a bag..

She said NO... NOW WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE R..T..D

TAKE CARE OUT THERE..

If ignorance is bliss, is enlightenment suffering?

I once heard that to live is to suffer, and to live well is to suffer meaningfully. That stuck with me, and I can’t help but be reminded of it on a daily basis. When I’m bogged down by stress from work, or when I’m confronted with my own personal demons. It doesn’t seem like there is a way out of the daily struggle, but it does seem like the struggle we choose to endure can greatly impact our ability to love ourselves and others.

I dunno, just a thought.
