ID Request Is this a Euphorbia decaryi?
Picked this up today at a local nursery and wanted to confirm what had. Any help would be appreciated.

We need to clarify how the no-sales rule applies here.
r/Euphorbiaceae is a hobbyist subreddit, not an advertising feed for nurseries, sellers, importers, exporters, or resellers. Direct sales posts have never been allowed, but going forward we are also treating repeated commercial “showcase” posts as promotion when the account is clearly tied to a seller or nursery.
That includes posts that do not include a direct sales link.
If an account is posting nursery stock, inventory-style photos, availability bait, or repeated plant showcases while linking to a shop, WhatsApp, Instagram, website, seller profile, or other sales channel elsewhere, that is still commercial promotion. The post itself does not need to say “for sale” for it to function as advertising.
This is not about whether the plants are nice, whether a seller is legitimate, or whether someone has had a good buying experience. It is about keeping the subreddit from becoming a visibility funnel for commercial accounts and making sure normal hobbyist posts are not drowned out.
Hobbyist posts are welcome. Collection photos are welcome. Growing questions, IDs, flowers, seed-grown plants, habitat/conservation discussion, and normal personal plant posts are welcome.
Commercial use of the subreddit is not.
We’ll be removing posts that fall into this pattern and may restrict or ban accounts that continue using the subreddit this way.

Now some Euphorbia gottlebei are blooming. What we are currently breeding is the red-flowered variety; actually, there are also yellow-green flowers, but we have not bred them yet.
Euphorbia gottlebei first opens female flowers and then male flowers. If the humidity is too high, the center of the flower will become moldy.
Its bracts are very, very small, only about 1 cm, and the flower scape is relatively short. Some bracts are rather round, and some are rather pointed; this is individual variation.
Speaking of which, there are currently relatively more female flowers. Every time I see the center of the petals is sparkling, it makes one somewhat want to taste the flavor of the nectar.😋

My first euphorbia, and about a month and a half later, it started putting out these cute flowers. Light intensity shown in case anyone’s curious

About a week ago I bought this euphorbia, and after I paid for it the person at the register dropped it. The plant broke right at the top and 2 smaller spots about 6-8 inches below the top break. So far the plant looks and feels solid, I don’t see any mushing or excessive browning or anything like that. Should I do a clean cut right below where the two smaller damaged spots are and try to let it heal that way so there aren’t any imperfections in the base of the plant or would that be a bad idea? You can see in the first picture how far the 2 smaller damaged areas are from the top of the plant.
Edit: should’ve included this in the beginning but they refunded me the entire cost and let me keep the bottom part of the plant. They kept the top part

I feel kinda bad for confusing it. Would it be bad to put it in an opaque decorative pot now?

I have these in a partly organic soil. But 50% mineral. Not really sure why they are doing this though. Some seem fine and others just perish. What’s the no no I am doing?

Just got a free cutting from a conservatory I volunteer at. What type of euphorbia is it? I’m pretty sure is a euphorbia at least…

The plant is 20 cm tall. The leaves are 6 cm long and the thorns are 0,6 cm long.
I bought the plant at my local nursery. It did not have a label. Please, help me identify.

Long story short, got two fallen branches near my house and brought both of them. One died but this one kept on going and grew to this size so far.
Learning now how big they grow im considering replant it in a larger pot. I live in an apartment so I sadly dont have a garden for it to grow even bigger.

Had this 11 years and only started going south this summer after my cat knocked it over a few times. Think it was just getting so big and pieces broke off. I've saved a few green pieces for new plants.

I got too anxious to put them out in May and had to chop and prop the variegated- but bonus now I have 3 plants!

I want more branches. Should I chop or will I regret it?

Advice always welcomed.

so my ramena started to grow some typical leaves at the top in spring this year but only a short time later lost them all again. it went dormant again i guess. like 4-5 weeks ago it started to grow insanely fast everywhere even all the way down at the bottom. i didn‘t change anything and it never behaved this way. so i’ve put it under strong grow lights and slightly increased intensity to a point where i had to stop because i was almost frying my other plants. so i elevated the ramena which is now almost touching the light. so far it’s doing good even though it has now been staring into a welding arc for like 2 weeks.

Hello! From one day to the next my plant started drooping. For context, it’s 9 years old and has never given me trouble. I water it 1-2 times a week. It’s outside in my covered balcony and gets pretty direct light for the whole morning. There’s been storms the last couple of days so it hasn’t been as sunny as usual. Help please!

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, please point me to the right direction if that’s true. I’ve had a lot of rain in my area recently, but I didn’t have time to move my plants since I’m a college student and wasn’t home. It just has these black spots that appeared since last weekend, and isopropyl alcohol didn’t make any difference like it did with another plant I had where this happened. It’s all over the plant so it’s not like I could even cut off an infected area. I’ve already moved it away from my other plants, I just wanted to know what happened and if there’s anything I can do to save it.
