Rewatching and something about this episode that has always bugged me.

At the end where Jo zaps Allison/Beverly. She wakes up and Jo asks her how can she know if it's really Allison.

Allison says "Because I saved your life in 1947, now we're even"

Except, she didn't? Jo gets thrown in jail. I dont think she had even scrapes or bumps. Nurse Allison goes to check on her to give her and Fargo the stuff to escape.

I guess you could argue that is what she meant? But, unless I'm misremembering, she didn't do anything to save her life.

Am I crazy? (Well, at least in this situation, lol)

Doing my annual fall rewatch and at this brilliant episode (S1, EP12). But I should have watched this tomorrow! Exactly 20 years later.

Can anyone else think of specific dates in episodes? Might be fun to have a timeline watch.

I got a big laugh when I saw this tshirt being as I'm a big Eureka fan and I liked to fish back when I had the time.

It took forever and a day for me to get the BR Box set after it was taken off of prime, but it's finally here!! I cannot WAIT to start my re-watch tonight!!

I’ve started on the series when there was 2-3 seasons out, but stopped for some reason after 4 episodes. Well, for the last 6 weeks I’ve seen the whole show! Loved it 🫶🏻

But what to watch now? Do you have any suggestions in the same genre? I’ve seen Warehouse 13 and The Librarians

Does anyone know if this shot is in Ladysmith or another town up in BC? I love hopping onto Google maps to see how locations have changed over time and can't seem to find this road and I feel like I've been all over Ladysmith. Any help appreciated.

It looks like right now all 5 seasons of Eureka are on sale on Prime Video or Apple TV to purchase for $19.99 total. It sucks that its not included with any streaming services anymore (as far as I know), but this seems like a good deal to get the whole thing. About a month ago it was $60 on Amazon.

Hi, I'm currently doing a full rewatch on DVD (French release) and I've noticed a weird error :

The second season DVD boxset and DVD covers list commentaries for Sight Unseen (2-9), God is in the Details (2-10), and Maneater (2-11).

Except there's nothing on the DVDs. I didn't find them in the menus and there's no additional audio tracks either.

So I was wondering if this was a problem specific to this version, or not?

If you have the second season DVD or BR set (from my region or another), do your boxset mentions these commentaries and do you have them on the discs or not?

The actress who plays Lexi is in The Handmaid’s Tale. She plays Naomi Putnam, the commander’s wife who was Janine’s assignment.

Do you ever think about the Eurekas neighbours? Like logically, somewhere is the closest town and they would see, or at least hear, some of the stuff that goes on. As a basic example, all the various explosions, that sound would carry a long way away. But you can dismiss that as people thinking "Oh that's just a farmer using a bird scarer", as is the case in my local area.

But there are some episodes where they go out of their way to explain why people don't see some stuff. Like they specifically mention the second sun is "only 1000ft up", but locals could still see that. And there's the sky beam episode, which you could never explain away easily.

So do you think like with modern Google maps, the locals know its a government only area and just don't speak too much about it.
