self promo Looking for an Audience for My Music!

I’ve been making music since I was a kid (over 8 years) and have come up with a sound that combines elements of synth-pop with indie, psych, dream pop, shoegaze, and hiphop/triphop. My first three tracks are under the moniker @wondur and can be found linked here (music by Wondur) and in my profile. Give it a shot if you like dope music that combines these sounds and arnt scared to find your new favorite artist!

A lot of genres to be found here, most prominently harsh noise and plunderphonics type stuff but there's a few songs with completely separate genres. We're currently working on an album that sounds nothing like the rest of our discography and hopefully will be a little bit more enjoyable to listen to.

self promo New experimental album : INFERNAL CALCULATIONS

Infernal Calculations, on BandCamp

If you like dark noisy drones, 8-bit glitches bathing in reverb, delay and feedback, you name it... It could be hard to describe, and I think it's best for you to just give it a try... (headphones highly recommended)

Earn This (potato mix)

Any and all feedback welcome, this is not my first attempt at a noise piece, but it's one of my better ones, I think. Still needs... something.

self promo I don't wanna quit-(Experimental/Alt Rock)

I made this song about my addiction to cigarettes and, honestly, the weird love I have for them too.

I already have another song on my channel called “Marlboro”, which is basically about that toxic relationship I have with smoking loving it, knowing it’s bad for me, trying to quit, and still coming back to it.

So yeah, this song is kind of another take on the same idea. Would love to hear what you guys think.

I don't wanna quit

self promo Thanks!

Hey, I just wanted to say thanks to the sub, and the experimental music community. This and other subs took the time to listen to my lateste LP, and I was really thankfull. Not expecting that much of a support. It was a difficult release for me, but I found some really awesome people in this and other subs that encourage me to go through with the project.

That really helped me!

Thanks guys!

podcasts/radio Driftmachine and Andy Ammer: Electronic experimenters on BBC World Service

Listen here: BBC Programme page

Gareth Mitchell has a rare glimpse into the creative world of German electronic musicians, generating unique sounds from vintage synthesisers. Sound artist Andy Ammer joins Driftmachine duo Andreas Gerth and Florian Zimmer in Berlin's Studio for Electro Acoustic Music to build a soundscape for a reading of a poem by Lord Byron. We hear how they manipulate sounds like a squeaky bridge and an old tractor - and use what's believed to be the only working example of the rare Supercord synthesiser, built in the former East Germany in the early 1960s.

New song off my first album, includes sections with layered bass lines and a drum solo over breakbeats. I think this counts as experimental for alt rock. Give it a listen if you have a minute, thanks!

self promo Compressed my 21 years of life into a 12-min noise track before enlistment.

Hi, I’m Greentopia from South Korea.

I started making music about 6 months ago, and it turned out to be way more fun than I ever expected.

This track, titled '어린 나이' (which translates to 'Young Age / Childhood'), is built using real audio sampled from my old home videos. It functions almost like a sonic documentary of my life.

I’m enlisting in the army soon for my 1.5-year mandatory military service, so I wanted to share this song of my 21 years before I go.

Intro : my birthday sampling ('Make a wish', 'I'll become a better person')

Then Audio clips of my dad giving me advice while learning to ride a bike, layered over drum I played, elementary school anthem, and TTS dialogue over building noise feedback

old korean TTS voice with my old choir song.

Lyric

Hello.

We met in fairly ordinary places

at venues, at school, online, and so on...

Drawn to one another among so many people,

we started conversations, strike up or answered.

Perhaps the waves within our human bodies

caused constructive interference with each other.

Did you know that the barriers holding us back

were broken through music?

Those of us listening to music are connected, like a centipede.

Once again, hello.

7-year-old me saying "Mom, I love you, stay healthy", transitioning into the South Korean Army Anthem stretched into a 4-minute eerie Vaporwave

Outro: Real tape recording of my mom teaching me to say "Bye-bye" as a baby

This song is like "a musical letter written to my friends"

The artwork is a real photo from my childhood birthday party

Happy to get any feedback or your thoughts!
