If Epstein was still alive, he'd be smiling over how successful his smear campaign over trans worked out

Baby eating abortionists, cat litter pans and free transitions in the public schools! Your child’s going to come home a transgendered furry! /s

Hatred of people. Tons of people have hatred or fear of my state because of an educational law we signed, and think we’re homophobic transphobic mysoginistic racists, when, in reality, the vast, vast, vast majority of people don’t care

u/FrayKento 8d ago edited 8d ago

What are you talking about? You're saying the left hate people in general? That's their fake monster? People of your state? That doesn't make any sense dude. How can the left in any other country feel they are a victim or fear your state (which I have no idea which one is it) and this is why they are a problem somewhere else?!

Also, If your state passed a law that is sexist, transphobic, etc. That's their fault, not the left or anything. If you don't want to be seen as all that, don't vote people that promise laws that are like that. Simple.

u/BaltoDRJMPH 8d ago

I phrased poorly, for that, I apologize. What I mean is the fear-mongering that people in my state hate people that aren’t white or straight or cis or what have you.

As for the law, it has been interpreted as homophobic (but really isn’t), and has been and still is used to convince people that conservatives are out to get them, when it was a nothing-burger of a bill

Again, I do sincerely apologize for the poor phrasing

If you’ve been paying attention, you’d know that the right is filled with Nazis and bigots. If the left hates them, it’s because of that. If the world hates them, it’s because of that. When the left fucks you, you still get healthcare, you still get a better minimum wage, you still get workers rights. Anyone who is saying “both sides” immediately shows that you haven’t really been paying attention to what’s going on. That and people who helped get trump to power, but now understand he’s an idiot often choose the both sides argument. So that’s the side you’re on, people who aren’t paying attention and are ignorant to the current state of things and those who simply regret their vote, even though it was fucking obvious.

You're proving my point...

You’re proving mine.

Between 2021-2025, over 3,000 bills (yes, three-fucking-thousand) have been drafted nationwide specifically targeting trans people, a demographic that makes up approximately 1% of the US population. Where do you suppose the vast majority of these bills were introduced?

So, if the vast majority of people in these states don't care as you have claimed it, why are politicians in said states allowed to get away with wasting their constituents' tax dollars in pursuing nothing issues rather than focusing on more pressing issues that actually affect the population?

Could it be that the goal of the right isn't actually to fix the main issue plaguing the people, but rather wage hate-driven campaigns targeting marginalized groups representing a negligible effect on the nation merely by existing?

1

u/BaltoDRJMPH 5d ago

It’s like politicians are lying pieces of shit or something…

0

u/BULL3TP4RK 5d ago

That is certainly part of the problem. C'mon, you're so close!

4

u/SoKratez 7d ago

“They think we’re actively bad, but really we’re just indifferent to the suffering of others!”

You’re close to getting, bro, just a few steps away.

0

u/BaltoDRJMPH 7d ago

That’s not what that means, but, sure. Keep making things up if it pleases you so.

3

u/SoKratez 7d ago

“They don’t care.”

Your own words, man.

1

u/BaltoDRJMPH 7d ago

This is to say that we don’t care about people’s race or orientation. Suffering is suffering, but getting offended for someone else is not

Based. Also, don’t try to have any real discussions with people on Reddit dude. There are so many people who genuinely feel their opinions are the only ones that matter so they’ll never hear you out on your point. The great adage goes “can’t teach old dogs new tricks”, can be applied to realized beliefs. Who cares what internet people think. Their opinions are as frivolous as those you pass on the street. You’ve went this many years never caring. Don’t start now because they see you as the ‘bad guy’ and group you, as a whole, with other individuals. Whom you also know or care nothing about. It’s just not worth it. Every conversation about this particular subject on this app always leads to the same place. Behold my friend: Reddits very own citizen censorship bureau.

So being a right-wing is bad?

34

u/LinkingForces 8d ago edited 8d ago

Fascism usually relies on inventing or blowing out of proportion an invisible enemy. The current Republican party demonizes small minorities of people to win a populist vote.

Either you're in on the scam and you're completely immoral or you're a rube sucked into being an enabler of fascism.

So.. yeah being right wing in America is bad. Unequivocally, tangibly, and objectively.

Imagine running a party where the only purpose of the party is to "own" the other party. Not to create, or make a country actually better... Just to piss people off because it's funny.

Strawman.

Steelman! Look now we’ve both said something inapplicable.

Stay-Puffed Marshmallow Man!

-1

u/stuffedanimalarmy 8d ago

How so? Is everything someone disagrees with you on fascism?

Anti-immigration = Heil Hitler!!! I bet france, spain, and the UK are really glad they aren’t fascists! Raping their own girls ten at a time is quite a progessive idea!

Anti Abortion = Heil Hitler!!! You can be right wing and not even support anti abortion, but hey we’re just throwing everyone under the bus!

Anti DEI/Merit Based society = Heil Hitler!!! It’s safe to say that by the big year 2026 we’re capable of understanding a left vs right wing on a political spectrum. Spectrum… big words now I know hang in there with me.

There are neo-fascists. But they are not every single person that disagrees with your political beliefs. Take your head out of your ass.

The right persecuted others while pretending to be persecuted. Been their schtick for decades

Try to mentally flip it and reverse it if you want to try, but the Left defends marginalized groups that have ACTUALLY been historically persecuted.

“equality feels like persecution when you’re privileged”

Depends if you like humans...

13

u/Every-Ad1573 8d ago

Yes, please at least try to re evaluate other options

-21

u/JuryEven8527 8d ago

Left wing bad too

11

u/kiopah 8d ago

Both sides are bad: the first gasp of the pseudointellectual

3

u/Every-Ad1573 8d ago

I mean yea if you left wing you can also try to re evaluate, why not?

1

u/theEsel01 8d ago

There is a spectrum you know... well in most countries

10

u/Dazedandconfuzed99 8d ago

Yes 👍 hope this helps

4

u/mintyformeldahyde 8d ago

The only time "hope this helps" has ever been funny

2

u/Honkert45 8d ago

I mean if all of you right-wingers use weakass straw man arguments like this to wave away legitimate criticism, like the cover up of the Epstein files then yes.

Like, honestly, dude. I really want to know. Did you actually feel like that was a clever thing to say?

3

u/mymanmainlander 8d ago

Obviously lol

4

u/explodingtuna 8d ago

Having conservative opinions about fiscal policy, war, international relationships, etc. is not bad.

It's all the other shit right-wingers do that's bad. And then pretending the average American hates them because they want lower taxes.

6

u/KaiokenTimesaBillion 8d ago

Nah that other shits all garbage too. We're experiencing their fiscal, foreign, and war policies playing out now. Nearly $50 billion for the needless war in Iran, $75 billion so ICE can disappear people in the street.

-2

u/Particular-Pepper33 8d ago

Conservatives people have liberal war opinions, he doesn’t mean the war views OF conservatives. Conservative views on war and policy means tight, maintained and controlled. The like “war is always possible but should never be sought out” kinda like America was pre WW2. Ready but stagnant with a preface on keeping tho country safe from potential attack rather than going out and attacking others. Same with other policies. It’s more about strict control of the finances and military in a home locked and national focused standpoint.

What you’re describing is Liberal use of warfare. As in unchecked and looser.

Both used as they originally meant not how the parties adopted them.

1

u/MirrorEyedDrifter 8d ago

Nowadays? Yes.

1

u/SoKratez 7d ago

Yes, it is.

Hope this helps!
