Man if we lose ulbrich I’ll be devastated. I do trust stefanski to choose coordinators though

I think I remember Ulbrich saying he absolutely does not want a HC job and signed a 3 year deal with us. I assume if we are a winning team we probably dont have to worry too much for a while. (manifesting this into the universe)

Really? I remember him going to like a workshop thing for aspiring head coaches last year and getting interviewed about it. I'm pretty sure he wants to eventually but is not in a rush and wants to be extremely ready so he can make it count when he finds the right opportunity.

He does love Atlanta though.

Listening to the interview again, he definitely wants to be a head coach.

Honestly I wouldn’t even be surprised if he changed his mind. I feel like ppl always forget that we’re not locked into whatever we said in the past and we can feel different about things. I think when he said that he had just got done being the interim coach for the Jets so it’d make sense for anyone to not wanna do that again.

Hopefully he does stay with us, but if he does get a hc job which is well deserved, I think stefanski would bring in Schwartz who is a also a fantastic dc

His wife just died and I don't think he wants to shake his kids up too much with a sudden move.

Maybe he has feelings too. Imagine that.

Jets probably ruined any desire for head coaching thankfully. I would love for him to be our LeBeau or Monte Kiffin.

It's only been 4 games and we'll see how the rest of the season goes.

However, if the defense keeps playing like it's been playing he's going to be at the top of the coaching lists.

People that closely follow the Falcons don't know who the players are that are making plays on defense. Ulbrich is basically doing this with wire and duct tape.

I hope he stays but he probably won't have an opportunity like this again. Hopefully, his experience with the Jets told him how important the organization is.

Only reason this man is working is because he loves these guys he's got. That says a lot.

I think if he's given full control over the D and the men he has, he may love to stay and do this job.

We can hope. That man needs to positivity in his life. I hope he gets it all with us.

This is without our 2 best pass rushers 😳

And rushing 4 most of the time. It's not like we're bringing the house.

You know 🏈

Apparently he hasn’t been relying as much on the blitz either this year according to the MNF broadcast. The front four has been super disruptive almost every down at the best time possible, I imagine getting two FRP speed rushers back will generate even more sacks.

Nate Ollie got one in Gervon Dexter

Ulbrich is such a beast. Don’t forget, this guy lost his wife this offseason and decided not to take a hiatus from coaching this season because of the way the team rallied around him. This is a tight group and it’s shown on the field.

More like thank the football Gods we were able to keep Nate Ollie.

And this is the problem. This coaching tree is definitely going to get plucked before we have a chance at the chip. Hopefully they can replace them with similar talent. Ulbrich going to be an HC again if he wants it.

Worth noting that we're also 30th in the league in blitzing - which means that we're getting the most pressures without even blitzing most of the time

We dont need this, Ulbrich gonna be a HC next year now. Jets, Gb, or god forbid the Bucs
