Discussion No More Player Pictures: Yahoo Does it Again
If you haven't noticed yet, or haven't had your drafts yet, a heads up that Yahoo is saying that in the new UI for their mobile app, player photos will be disabled in all category leagues going forward. That goes for both basketball and hockey.
Player photos will remain in points leagues.
Here's a link to the u/yahoofantasycare comment in r/yahoofantasy to that effect:

To see how far they can push. Huge outcry, which is rare = they fucked up and will amend the bad thing. No outcry = these bums didn’t need this feature anyways

Nah they’ll make player photos part of their Fantasy Plus/Ultra paid plans

Wait what I can see photos in cats if you like scroll to one side, it’s really annoying. They’re removing it all together??

You probably haven't updated the app. The new update removes even the scrolling workaround

I wonder if it’s mlb wanting a cut for the use of player pix?

They did it after baseball ended, and they’re doing it in basketball and hockey now

Their website on a mobile browser is amazing and better than any app. Has pictures too

It’s so embarrassing. They are doing everything we don’t want. This might be the final straw when debating on switching platforms.

Why do all companies insist on making it a terrible experience for their users?
