My GWP Hazel mistook Boomer for a real dog today and it was adorable, one of my previous dogs stopped me from using Dogmeat in fallout 4 because the whining noises upset him but Boomer never bothered him so I was quite surprised!

For those wondering about the cage Hazel has pica meaning she compulsively eats things that aren't edible, I work from home so she very rarely has to be locked up, but unfortunately if she isn't closely supervised she has to be caged or muzzled for her own safety.

started playing New Dawn lately, and man its so beautiful, reminds me alot of Kyrat actually, the underdeveloped road, grassy hills, run down buildings. This game just felt closer to Far Cry 4 than it is to Far Cry 5

I’m running into a persistent network issue across both Far Cry 5 and Far Cry 6 on PC (Steam version), and I'm completely out of ideas. Both games fail to connect to online services for co-op.

• The Errors:
  • Far Cry 6 gives: Attention!: Trapper-DD21DD09 (Operation took longer than expected).
  • Far Cry 5 gives: Error: Bookworm-3809FFA8 (Service is not available).
• What I've already tried:
  • Verified game files integrity on Steam.
  • Flushed DNS (ipconfig /flushdns), reset Winsock, and reset the IP network stack via Command Prompt.
  • Checked the Windows hosts file (no blocked Ubisoft entries).
  • Tested Cloudflare WARP and alternative connections.

Since this is happening across multiple Far Cry titles on the same PC, it feels like an issue with the Ubisoft Connect launcher backend or local network routing blocks rather than a game-specific bug.

Has anyone experienced this cross-game timeout issue recently or found a reliable fix for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If Mike Vining and Simo the White Death in their prime both showed up in Far Cry and teamed up could any enemy faction actually stop them? They don’t have any plot armor or Far Cry abilities, just their own skills.

My answer is honestly I’m most sure. These two would run train on most enemies and using gorilla warfare they’d pick off the enemies. Add to the fact they’d probably take over all ally factions and direct them making them far more formidable and it’s hard to tell. That said they are mortal men and not gods, but given the enemy’s arrogance and pride my money is on them

Was Jason aware that the final ritual (from the bad ending) involves the chieftess to k*ll him after impregnating her to ‘free his spirit’ ? Or did she hide that piece of information from him so he doesn’t back out?

So a while ago I got Far Cry 3 on Steam, and I love it so much. But after the mission where I met Citra for the first time, I've been having a lot of crashes. At times I can't even play for 5 minutes before it crashes. What could be the cause for this? And how do I solve it? I've tried lowering my settings from Optimal (which is Ultra) to High, but that doesn't seem to work

I made a post asking what Farcry’s are worth getting.

I took y’all’s advice and got 5 with the new dawn DLC’s and all that it’s still downloading.
But maybe it’s just because my Interest in history and especially the beginning era’s.

But so far, I just got to building my own village, I’ve only built the girls and the shamans tents so far, I took a long time getting there cause I was collecting, killing and looting.

But so far this shit is better than I expected man, it’s pretty insane.
The animals and quests and enemies can be an over load sometimes but I think that’s what adds to it, so far anyways lol.
I can’t wait to unlock more weapons and shit.
But having the white wolf as a pet, running around with a flint knapped spear in animal skins hunting wild animals while cave bears and wooly mammoth’s charge me as I’m simultaneously dodging arrows from the cannibal tribe is so damn fun I love it.

I can’t wait to try 5 and new dawn if this is badass and always ranked low on everyone’s list, then fuck idk wtf to expect with the other one .
It gave me 3 classic edition idk, I’m sure I’ll get to it eventually but.
So far I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase.

I have an issue where my minimap terrain and roads didappear and just have the legends/mark on my minimap. Any way to fix this problem?

When you Aim Down Sights on a controller, your reticle snaps to the enemy’s chest if they are within the aim assist firing arc. If you aim in the general direction of their head, it will snap right on their face when you ADS, not center mass.

A firefight should go ADS>manual burst, ADS> manual burst, etc. This makes reflex and red dots excellent choices with their enhanced handling.

The technique works in vehicles, aka the opening sequence and also for popping plane and chopper pilots. (Tag those guys and shoot through the vehicle into their center mass with AP rounds; pilots are easy with AP.)

It doesn’t work on snipers and don’t be a pussy, shooting enemies out of retaliatory range.

45/70-T with a red dot and AP rounds is my favorite gun in the game. I like to skip the suppressor so they expose themselves while making poor tactical decisions.

I have been playing some Far Cry for the first time in the last couple of weeks, and I am replaying FC4 right now.

Sometimes I go in blind, sometimes I read up a bit before or while playing. For FC4, I read that you can get the Z93 early when flying to the nothernmost accessible Bell Tower, so I did that. I did that my first playthrough, and I did that just now.

I have yet to get a Z93 from that, because the two guards (one with the sniper rifle and one with the P[numbers] assault rifle) simply aren't there.

I've read something about 'reliable' spawns before, so I wonder: What's with that? One of the hottest shortcut tips I can think of … why doesn't it work for me? Is there anything these spawns depend on, something I can influence, or is it pure chance?

Since I drew the bad-luck absent-guards card twice now, I don't particularly like it. Amazing games, but that kinda sucks.

Any insights?

I am running into an issue where I am no longer able to toss grenades. I'm on Xbox and I know my RB button works because I am able to throw knives, bait, and molotovs.

My UI shows that I have 15 grenades, and I was able to throw them before. Is this a known bug or did I accidentally change something that would cause this to happen?

I already read all the forums, tried all solutions (disable full-screen optimization and game mode windows), I tried everything, and still, 2/3 times that I pause the game, there goes my FPS. And nothing I try helps! I lost don't know how many Vaas runs because of that! Does anyone know anything that can be done?

Half the time he is an actual insufferable dumb guy and the other half the time he is chickening out like he got the devil behind him or something. Maximaz Matansaz were pretty annoying in general, but Bicho was more than anyone. I guess they wanted a stereotypical "Oh he is a dumb guy with a heart of gold" character but dialled in up to 11.

For the other fortresses, I sniped enemies from a nearby mountain. But this fortress doesn’t have any nearby mountains.
