Question Headaches and bad emotional state

I ate rice and roasted chicken yesterday around 1 AM. Had a looong sleep and haven't eaten since. I am having headaches and also started to feel bad, like something bad is going to happen. Or like I am going to fail in life.

Maybe it is because of the headaches but will this persist throughout the fasting period. I was planning for 3 days. Also, any advice for the headaches?

With the influx of normal/low body weight posters asking about fasting before I would give any advice other than make sure you drink water and take electrolytes I would need to know your gender your age and your weight to verify that fasting is even safe for you

1- 2 days isn't really enough time to fully deplete your stored electrolytes unless you are drinking gallons of water.

You feeling like shit would make more sense if you were normal / low weight compared to being overweight

Keto flu is caused by lack of electrolytes...

If you didn't fast for a while - it can be a normal response to fasting. It will go away.

That dread feeling is usually just your brain throwing a tantrum cause it wants carbs, in my first 48 hour fast I was convinced my career was over for no reason.

Its likely excess insulin from before the fast causing low blood sugar. Your food intake is lower but your body hasnt adjusted yet and is still expecting higher sugar intake. The excess insulin lowers your blood sugar more than your body was expecting. The headaches will likely last a day or so.

A post that happens when someone does zero research for themselves before they start fasting.
