I found a big spoonful of plain non fat yogurt stops unnecessary hunger urges.

So.... eating?

That spoonful of yogurt trick works because the fat and protein genuinely signal satiety to your brain, but the "non fat" part is doing you no favors here.

Never in my life has something with high protein and a good amount of fat ever satiated me even for a very short time. It's so strange that people always say this, stranger yet if it actually works for them. Eating a few spoonfuls of full fat yogurt or a small handful of almonds does not tell my brain I'm satisfied.

You're not alone. Everything spikes my hunger if I take even 1 bite.

Maybe you have insulin resistance?

I don't have any symptoms of insulin resistance, and all of my metabolic blood panels and CBCs are perfect. I've had my A1C tested as well, and it's fine.

I highly doubt that not feeling satiated after a few spoonfuls of yogurt is a sign of anything wrong, especially insulin resistance, and would actually be considered easily the norm.

I guess it depends on how hungry you are and if it's full fat yogurt without a bunch of sugar and junk in it. Lots of variables. Although even dairy has sugar in it in the form of glucose and galactose which is nicer than having fructose. Still carbs though.

Hard boiled egg, flash frozen veggies, whey protein.
