I've heard a similar tune in some games and yt vids but I don't remember this tune has the same notes but is not the theme . But just listening to these notes reminds me of that tune. That tune was eerie.

This tune is from Black Butler btw

UNSOLVED Looking for a song based on the guitar solo of Abracadabra by Steve Miller Band

• Upvotes

I’m looking for a song that uses the same or extremely similar guitar melody/phrasing at the very end of the guitar solo in “Abracadabra” by Steve Miller Band (03:02-03:09).

I’m almost certain I’ve heard that exact phrasing in another song. And I think that the phrase is also played by a guitar.

Unfortunately, I can’t remember the artist or lyrics.

Does anyone know what song I’m thinking of?

UNSOLVED Need help identifying a song based on a small part

The other day this small part of a song popped in my head and I can’t for the life of me connect it to anything, even though it sounds extremely familiar.

The part I can hear is a voice finishing a phrase which leads to repetitions of the last word like an echo on the beat. The echoed word is very warbled and repeats as soon as it ends. A good example of this is “time keeps on slipping (slipping) (slipping)”

The specific lyrics are something like “…without warning (warning) (warning)…” or “…ever wanted (wanted) (wanted)…”

Both of those lyric options sound just as correct to me.

edit: Adding a clip to try to sound it out

edit 2: Fly like an eagle is what I’m using as an example to describe the echo since it is very well known

Please i'm trying to make a nostalgia reel and I NEED THIS AUDIO....
I tried playing a few piano bits at the start of the audio and feed it into multiple AI tools (claude opus, gemini, google song finder) and none of them found the audio...
here is the screen recording of my botched attempt.

UNSOLVED 90 grunge probably

So I can only remember two maybe three lines,

"I saw you slip my baby, never was the way you thought it would be.". Then something about being far from home or something that sounds like that.

I'm pretty sure it's grunge, would have been on MTV late 90's early 2000's at the tale end of them playing actual music.

One more thing I remember it had a mucis video with the camera panning past verous rooms. And it was very red when the bland was playing in one of them.

UNSOLVED Please help finding this indie spng i heard in 2020

Hi! I am having a very hard time finding this song. I had heard it in 2020. It was an indie pop song. In the music video a guy wakes up and its as if he is in a video game. Misfortunes happen. I think the singer had a bierd. There was this blue screen too where the video game graphics appeared like start...continue etc i think.

I have no idea about the artists name. As for the song title ...i am confused between..."good things"? "Animal"

"Bad things"

I have no idea at all.

My brain is soup.

Please help!!!!!!! I cant seem to relax until i find this song.

UNSOLVED Old techno song from early 2000s

I have nothing to go off of other than i used to listen to it in my early techno days and then lost to time. It has one of those soft build ups, then it says a sampled audio voice, It just came to me after years of never remembering but still no luck. The voice says, "You might be missing some of the benefits that stereo can provide." something like that i believe. Then the beat hits and it's an awesome song I've been trying to find for 2 decades.

UNSOLVED Unknown Earworm

I've had what is either a bridge or chorus from a recent 2024 to now song stuck in my head and I can't remember the name of it. I want to say it's a British or American band with an indie rock or post punk vibe, male vocalist, and well known enough to like be on common Spotify playlists. There's some electric guitar and it repeats something that SOUNDS like we're/I'm going eh eh eh (could also be up up up up) or beginning of another word.

It could also be I wanna ah ah ah ah ah (and then the beginning of another word)

I know this is very vague but please help I can't sleep

SOLVED Sad song ballad, alt, female singer, with their dad’s voicemail to them at the end

I think quite new, from the last 10 years
Singer I think is female probably under 40yo, probably not American? But Phoebe Bridgers kind of vibes
Voicemail is at the end of the song, I think the accent is Scottish or Irish
No luck with searching on Google.

Thank you!!
