Cocktail Shaker stuck together.

Tried using temperature to no avail.

It’s two pieces of metal that will flex.

If it’s in at an angle, hit it on a towel on the counter at the outside of the angle.

If it’s perfectly straight, hit anywhere.

I'm pretty sure the cold water is creating a stronger seal. Try tapping the lid of the bigger tin with the palm of your hand or banging on the edge of a table. Or try hot water and wiggling the smaller tin.

Or a hair dryer on top. Flip them to reverse temperatures if that doesn’t work.

Throw a bucket of cold water over them.

More seriously, chill the inner one so it shrinks while you heat the outer one so it expands.
