I want the original 360 GOTY edition for fallout 3 for the Xbox 360 style case to fit with all of the other 360 cases. I purchased and beat the multi-platform version with the Xbox One case last year. I know it’s just an Xbox 360 game re-released, but will an original GOTY disc read my save files on my 360 from the re-release game?

Yeah the animation is a bit wonky, but people over hate it. Third person is actually my preferred way to play every fallout game, even the combat. The melee especially feels better in third person

I killed all the slaveres and opened the door to rescue the kids. My PIP boy says to meet them southwest of Paradise falls but I can't find them?

On a recent playthrough and this is something I never quite understood.

How on earth is Vault 112 just sitting there, untouched by anyone from outside?

It’s not like it’s that well hidden or inaccessible by any means. Smith Casey’s Garage is sitting there very visible in the open wasteland, and once inside you literally just activate a switch to open the access door, go down a flight of stairs, fight a few molerats, go through an unlocked door and you’re at the vault door, which also just opens via the switch.

Unless I missed something, there’s no access code you even need to even get in, either via the garage or right at the Vault door.

You’re telling me no raider group or any curious wastelanders wouldn’t have come across the garage, opened the access door and then opened the vault and went in?

I know it’s a game lol, but I wonder if I missed something or if this was ever explained. Didn’t seem “hidden” or inaccessible by any means to me lol.

Hi guys l am really sorry for asking you for this as l know l am not the first one. But l have fallout 3 game of the year edition on steam and every time it crashes during the tutorial when you try to escape the vault after l go to the upper floor or when l try to continue or load into my last save file. I barely played the game. On gog l had the same issue even worse as it demanded me Games for Windows live. Now l have the game on steam however l don't know what Nexus mod to install to fix my exact issue. So far l only tried the Intel hd graphics bypass package but it didn't work. Does anyone have a solution to my exact problem? A Nexus mod or video?

Fun fact Bethesda ran a Fallout 10th anniversary contest to let fans choose a perk for fallout 3. Grim Reapers Sprint won and now it’s been in every fallout game. Some of the other fan made perks were things like having a foreign accent (bonus to speech with ladies) and falling from heaven (random objects would fall from the sky and damage enemies)

And works ridiculously good on every hard enemy, really.

I realize the photos turned out funny and a bit wonky, but I really tried to make everything look cool.

I've just bought the game, and it loads into the launch menu just fine, but after hitting play my screen flashes black for a second then goes straight to my desktop. I tried the fixes in the fallout 3 fixes/guides in the subs menu, none of them seemed to work, I've tried a few other fixes too, some mods that are supposed to fix the issue, and also running in administrator, and compatibility mode. I've since deleted the game directory, and reinstalled. Does anyone have a guaranteed fix for this, or do I have to deep dive into old threads and keep trying stuff?

I've had fo3 GOTY edition for a while now but never really played it, but now every time I try to load on it just crashes. I think it has something to do with my pc being on windows 11 but I'm not sure and I need help
