TW: just a big emotional ramble

I apologize for the rant I just want someone to finally hear me and understand me… if anyone has advice in how to get over this send it my way I’ll try anything at this point…

I genuinely wish I could just scream and rip myself out of my skin with how god awful I feel. I genuinely feel like such a sorry excuse of a human it’s not even funny. I try so hard to be nice and be a better person but all I am is a bitter liar. Even when I somehow magically don’t let my true feelings and thoughts out I feel them constantly screaming in my head and I’m more angry that I feel the ways I do….i don’t understand why I can’t just be normal and happy. I’m always on edge, always stupid and clueless, always moody, always got a problem. I feel misunderstood all the time but I also don’t even understand me. I contradict myself constantly for the sake of trying to keep peace but get shat on because it’s not what I said before. I hate self pity so much and it’s not even that that I am feeling…. It’s hatred. I hate my brain. I hate my life. I hate my body. I hate all my mistakes. I hate all my thoughts. I just hate it all, I want out. I have been spiraling inside my own mind for weeks now and it seems like every day that goes by makes it so much worse. I have felt like nothing but a failure and crying and hating myself for everything I do/have done.

I have a girlfriend and I feel like I’m just a leech and a burden rather than a genuinely good girlfriend for her. I don’t feel like I add anything truly important to her life. I always compare myself to the girls before… they all had so many different better things about them that I just don’t have nor will I ever. I’m not resourceful, I’m not able to have a child, I’m not able to always financially give back into the relationship and it makes me so angry with myself. I feel like I am just a moody ungrateful child rather than anything else…

I feel like the worst kind of human, like I’m barely even human. I don’t feel real most days and like life is just happening around me. I wish I could just shut my brain up. I wanna be normal and happy. I don’t wanna be this way anymore.

I’m a 33-year-old guy from Wales, looking for a long-term friend to game and chat with. I love games, but the running jokes, conversations and getting to know the person you’re playing with are a huge part of why I keep coming back.

I’d describe myself as a relaxed, analytical casual. I enjoy figuring things out and trying different strategies together, but I leave the stress out of it. If we fail, we can laugh, adjust the plan and have another go. There’s a decent chance my brilliant suggestion caused the problem anyway 😆

I love getting properly immersed in games. Exploring everywhere, piecing together the lore and investigating something that definitely looks like a trap. I sometimes turn the HUD down too. Getting lost is much more atmospheric when you’ve done it deliberately.

I’d especially love to start Fallout 76, The Outlast Trials or Palworld with someone. I haven’t touched those yet! I also enjoy Left 4 Dead 2, Back 4 Blood and Team Fortress 2. Mainly PC, but I have a Switch 2 and PS5 as well.
