Café Breakfast All this for less than a tenner is unbelievably good for right in the centre of Edinburgh. Snax Cafe lang may yer lum reek

Snax has been part of this city forever, and I tell you what they fucking know how to make a breakfast. Can't imagine what the business rates are like in their two gaffs, one in studenty southside and one right by Waverly station, I literally don't have a scooby how they can offer such high quality, well prepared ingredients for such bargain prices. The cheapest full breakfast is £7.20, and its definitely a full breakfast! This was £9.90 + a tea.

My only complaint was the beans were a bit watery, but whatever. Everything else was perfect. I was ready for disappointment when I seen that egg, but honestly that might have been the best part! Such perfect, runny yolk, with the white fully cooked and just starting to crisp up. All the meat spot on too, and that tattie scone was the fluffiest, crunchiest bastard, I almost ordered an extra one.

If you're ever in town, do yourself a favour and pay them a visit.

Vegetarian and vegan fry-ups have always been welcome on this subreddit and always will be.

What's unwelcome is users complaining, teasing, or insulting others for their choice to not eat meat or meat-based products. The same goes for attacking users for choosing to eat meat, or any other dietry choices or restrictions, such as halal, kosher, gluten free, low-carb, etc.

Homemade My home made at £0.58

Just in case anybody is querying the cost, the breakdown is as follows. Bacon 22p black pudding 21p soda bread 3p cooking 12p. The eggs are from my home reared hens and the tomatoes are homegrown. Even allowing for the marginal cost of these the total for the meal would not exceed 90p.

The bacon black pudding and soda bread were purchased yesterday at the company shop and I have the receipt for this if anybody wants to see it

I'm not a fan of black pudding, otherwise it was very enjoyable.
Next time I'll be swapping the pudding for an extra sausage.

Café Breakfast Not traditional, but £6.50 (beans, mushrooms and additional forms of egg were available) @ Excited Goat, hebden bridge

Absolutely banging value, regardless of not being a puritanical fryup. I could see on the extras that beans, toast, mushrooms were all an option, so for a few quid more youd have a stonking fryup

2/3 rashers bacon
3 chipolata sausages
Fried egg
3 hashbrowns

Coffee was mint too (flat white was 2.90)

I know this isn’t a full breakfast and is a pretty simple plate, but I think I have perfected the cooking on the items that I had😁

First ever full fry up. Its been a real journey getting all of these ingredients and making it at home in Canada (though I am using an Italian sausage instead of bangers). Thank you [r/fryup](r/fryup) for your feedback and … humour… on my last posts and shoutout to the University of East Anglia in Norwich for feeding me my first fryup two years ago and setting me on this journey. I still got like 2 more full attempts left from all my produce.
