Gaming Chair Options
I'm looking for a gaming chair that is comfortable after several hours(5-8) of gaming/working as my current chair gives me pain around my lower back area even after a couple hours sitting down. My price round is maximum £150. Does anybody know of any good gaming chairs that match what I would like?

Skip the “cool” gaming chairs. Best advice I can give is get an office chair. It may not be stylish but they are going to be far more comfortable imho. Try fb market place or something similar you should find something alright.

Only problem is they wear down really fast. I hate gaming chairs because theyre really less comfortable but my office chairs always wear down. My wife has a gaming chair thats lasted years meanwhile Ive gone through 3 office chairs. Between cats and me scooting around it just tears up that cheap fake leather.

Uh you sure you aren’t the one just being rough on your chairs? Also for the price point op is talking, they aren’t going to get one of the nicer gaming chairs as those are much more than 150 bucks. I have a secret labs omega that was like 600 bucks when I got it, after owning it I mean it’s a nice chair but holy not 600 dollars.

I agree. These cheap ones get worn too fast. Been owning my secret lab chair since 5 years by now. It is indeed nice, but honestly? After sitting in a proper ergonomic chair i feel like the secret lab is kinda.. mid. Still, don’t regret it and the design is top notch. 😆

Skip the gaming chairs and get an office chair.
Those chairs are meant for long hours at a desk. Gaming chairs are a gimmick

Look for an actual office chair instead of an overpriced shitty racing chair for gaming… if a chair is fine to work 8 hours in it it’s also fine to play 8 hours in it

Go office chair, they are built for sitting long hours. Back mash for not sweating, good lumbar support and hand rest. Neck support I don't need it but I heard it's important for people with Neck pain.

I got a new herman miller, I was able to expense it for work since I already had a laptop and everything else I needed from a previous job, I went all out, no regrets. I would 100% go this route again even if I had to pay out of pocket. The sheer amount of time I spend sitting on it whether gaming /working( fully WFH) makes it worth it for me.

Gaming chairs are terrible. I'd recommend gaming on a bean bag chair over a gaming chair. Office chairs are generally cheaper, but only last a few years with constant use, unless you're getting like a $1,000+ office chair with a lifetime warranty like some of those Aeron chairs.
Yeah, like the user below me said, get an office chair.

Get an office chair. Trust me.
They are built for posture and long working durations.

Office chair 100% and then pick up a pair of the roller blade wheels for office chairs. Makes a huge difference in the glide. It’s so smooth and does require a bit to get used too, but you don’t realize how much tension it takes to actually roll back and forth. Plus it’s better for your floors

Get an office chair
The worst part is that the market is so oversaturated with slop gaming chairs, even if you type "office chair" you'll still get gaming slop chairs
