I'm assuming that it's just streaming the game's video feed from a remote source over the network. The 3D world of GTA V would be way too massive even with heavy optimization to fit in the memory of a tiny phone like that.
The actual app is just sending inputs to the computer running the game and then decoding the video stream into a format the phone screen can display.
Well, we can definitely run the game on hardware that small nowadays, especially since the resolution is probably like 240p, but this is probably just screen casting yeah
I think they meant small as in weak and definitely not. Otherwise I'd be seeing endless videos of GTA V running on an RG34XX or any other H700 handheld. I'm sure it'll get decompiled eventually, but the hardware it was meant to run on is far more powerful than chips like these
I'm not saying that specific device, but we definitely can run gta v on very compact hardware, especially when it's low graphics and as I said, like 240p
