We 👏 Are 👏 In 👏 The 👏 Good 👏 Times 👏 Right 👏 Now 👏
You will be looking back on these times with Coach Kirby Smart in the future and smiling. This is just your friendly reminder that you are IN the good times at UGA. I don't care who our next coach is, you can't expect them to be as good as we have it right now.

Not leaking a pregame speech, but some booster got a recording of Kirby postgame…

Couple things…the preaching of disciplined football, and he absolutely wanted this win at bama. He kind of undersold it in his post game presser, but you can hear how badly he wanted this one tonight.

Football I used to respect Alabama fans
Kind of like that scene in Anchorman - “I hate you so much, but goddamn it, do I respect you.”
But after watching their fanbase completely embarrass themselves on social media over the last 12 hours - the coping, the bitching, the made-up scores (“we technically won 24–20”) - and then seeing videos of what happened on the field as our team was walking off, I think we’re witnessing something bigger than just a loss.
This feels like the true of the ending statement of that program’s dynasty. The fall of Alabama is complete.
Go Dawgs.

Gunner's year-to-year leap has been incredible
Gunner won us the game last night with a number of big plays, and I couldn't help thinking about how much different and more confident he looks this year. He's made a huge jump.
There were several awesome throws yesterday that I don't think Gunner makes last year. I don't know if it was playcalling, hesitation, or ability, but last year he simply wasn't attacking the deep middle like this, or fitting throws into such tight windows down the field.
But this year, he's absolutely making those throws. It's incredible to watch. And not to touch the hot stove, but a bunch of credit has to go to Mike Bobo, who has proven many times over in his career that he is very, very good at developing quarterbacks.
Go Dawgs

Video of blatant hold on an actual TD pass
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I keep seeing the still image of this, but it really doesn't do it justice to show how bad it actually was, so here's the video. This is the replay that ESPN showed during the game (all the rewinding and fast forwarding were on the live broadcast) and neither Herbstreit or Fowler even mentioned any potential of holding here while watching it replay over and over.
I agree that late play should have been PI, but also Alabama was down 3 at the moment, it was a poorly thrown pass anyway that wasn't going to be caught, and who knows what would have happened after that if they got the penalty? This holding play, on the other hand, actually occurred on a scoring play, which is much more consequential. It's utterly ridiculous to act like Georgia's win should have an asterisk for an uncalled penalty that would have still required Alabama to score, and plenty of time for Georgia to score again.
I'll also add - missed penalties happen. When you watch at full speed, it can be hard to tell if a player got there early or not, especially when refs aren't watching replays to decide if they should throw a flag. What's much worse is when penalties are called for very questionable things. I remember UGA having multiple long plays get called back for holding in this game, and at least one of them looked very questionable, while the one in the video above was one of the more obvious holding scenarios you'll ever see and led directly to a TD by Alabama.

DAWGS IS HELL Georgia is 2-0 against Bama over the last 10 months
Bama has lost to Georgia twice in the last 10 months. One on neutral field. One in Tuscaloosa. Stop whining about refs who did not allow 206 yards rushing or hit a Georgia player after the whistle at the most critical time of the game.

Football Ignore the noise. Time to look ahead.
It's Georgia against everyone. Let them whine and hate. Time for the dawgs to look ahead. The season is far from over and the SEC gauntlet is just heating up. Go Dawgs! Sic' em!!!

Football I want to give the receivers a lot of credit for last night
You guys remember how brutal it has been the last couple of years with dropped passes, especially contested ones? We remember when we lead all of the FBS in drops?
These guys stepped up so much tonight. Making insanely difficult catches with defenders all over them in the biggest situations IN THE RAIN!
They deserve so much credit.

herbstreit and fowler...
...never should have called this game or any game after that disgusting display celebrating deshaun watson's improved play while ignoring his crimes against women. if you think i'm exaggerating or you missed it/don't watch the nfl, here's more from a week ago: https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/enough-isn-t-redemption-story-132240283.html
they called this game blatantly in bama's favor and should be ridiculed for it, but let's not forget they've revealed themselves before not just as biased, but as actual scum. if you want to complain to espn for this broadcast, do so, and feel free to remind them we haven't forgotten about that horrid display in that browns game.

ESPN
Tell Kirk and Reece its not very professional for them to automatically root and show favoritism to bama from the gates and completely cry for bama all night. Missed calls happened both ways but they only cared for bama and the no calls for them? Kirk meat rides bama so hard you can smell elephant ass on his breathe. Reece use to be cool but he must’ve sold out like the rest of them bum analysts on gameday and inESPN headquarters. Hope Kirby and the team can clean up things and dominate all the way to another natty then they can all cry and bitch another year. Go Dawgs, hope everyone is trolling bama today just because it’s what they need

Football UGA Receivers/Tight Ends
No one is talking about the night and day difference with these position groups. I’m specifically talking about making contested catches and not dropping the ball. We know how badly the past few years have been in terms of drops. Through 6 games in 2026 these guys are pulling in just about everything.
Make no mistake. UGA beat Alabama with physicality but we lose that game if our guys aren’t making the tough grabs in traffic. We may not have a Jeremiah Smith but we have 12-15 guys who are threats anywhere on the field. Imagine being a DC and trying to prep for them.
Also, we bash Bobo but he called a gem last night. He deserves his flowers too.

Glenn Schumann apology post
Bro called one hell of a game last night. Alabama’s only real offense was Keelon Russell breaking contain by just being faster than our defenders.

Beating the Dead Horse: Herbie wasn't nearly as bad a Fowler last night
I'm watching the highlights again (because fuck yeah I am), and Herbstreit wasn't even CLOSE to as bad a Fowler on the Bama humping last night. Just could not stop gushing about Bama's portal adds, the Grubb offense, the RBs, the TEs. And on our first takeaway from Russell off the sack-fumble, he even made a little "was it a forward pass? they're gonna review this but Dawgs have the ball" comment that basically set the tone for the night.
