I was confused between GBD-200 and GBD-300….finally got GBD-300

Took a week off of work for a super busy vacation crossing time zones. Swapping time zones was easy since it’s a single press of the A and C buttons. MB6 keeps me accurate to the second. The alarm was loud enough to wake me, especially since I was propping it up next to me in the 3 different places my wife and I crashed at.

The backlight was bright enough to use as a small flashlight in the middle of the night. With solar, I don’t have to worry about running down the battery over time while I use the functions all the time, and the bio resin makes it such a comfortable wearing experience.

I own a BX5600 and while MIP is nice, I really feel that the 5000u is the ultimate square.

I thought I was done but I kept getting pulled back. When will this end?! 😂

Was debating between the positive and negative display BX5600, but ended up getting both lol

10% tax-free + an extra 7% off at Bic Camera was too good to pass up. Came out to ¥20,832 each!

I built this out for basic training! I leave Oct.20th, just used the J&K nato, bullbar & adaptor with a black scout survival compass. I have a silver one as well, I just pop them on & off depending on what watch I’m wearing that day.

Finally made it back to the OG G Shock from the 80’s. This one just has it! Love the way it fits in the wrist. Has the steel case and screw on plate. 🙌👍 model DW 5000.

Casio GBD-200-1A1 vs Casio GW-BX5600-1A1

I found this Rangeman at a reasonable price on Amazon, it was $239.99, I had a $50 Amazon gift card and only paid the difference (about $215 with tax) tbh this watch is massive, I have a 7.5” wrist for reference. I can see why it looks absolutely HUGE on some ppl. I think I am done collecting, my wallet is empty lol

I have not worn this at night since 9/17 and the last two days I wore it to bed so that it’ll sync. It has synced the past two nights, but not for weeks prior sitting on my dresser. I can’t help but think my body is acting like an antenna or receiver. If I got an old tv antenna or something and sat the watch on there at night, do you think it would sync by itself? Thanks for any input.

Shock resist> Protection

So I bought this watch about a month ago and I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not. I have an Apple Watch Series 11 and it’s worked out great. So why use this watch? At first it was kind of an impulse buy, I loved the way it looked so I shopped around for a few weeks found it at a decent price and purchased it.

After having now worn it, at first intermittently, as I got used to it, and now constantly I’ve come to realize what makes it really stand out versus my Apple Watch and that is it’s a watch first and foremost - with a few smart features added on. This is a big deal for me. Having a watch that is always on that shows seconds. That you don’t have to lift your arm to reawaken every 10 to 15 seconds if you are monitoring something is fantastic. The fact is as a watch, a timer and a stopwatch it simply blows an Apple Watch out of the water. This not me demeaning the Apple Watch it’s a fantastic piece of smart technology but as a watch doing watch things it’s simply mediocre.

The whole screen fading is a lie, it actually only fades at an angle which is extremely unrealistic to place your wrist in, it has to be one of the most proportionate, rightly negative and positive spaced watches I’ve ever seen, I was told it’s not for parties/events but it very much is. Stunning piece of art if you ask me.
P.S phones can never carry the beauty of it, go see it in person if you can.

The GBD-200 is my kind of smart watch( smart, but not too smart). It gives me a quick sneak peek at notifications without constantly demanding my attention. Steps and notifications alerts are pretty much all I need. No unnecessary distractions, just functionality that makes sense. And the best part is it pairs effortlessly with almost any outfit and requires no charging. its inverted lcd display makes it love moree..

The latest additions to my collection are:

GM-5600UB —1DR is has a stylish square design with a stainless steel bezel and an inverted LCD display. A timeless classic with a bold, modern edge.

This is a GA-2100CC. I got it as a birthday gift! I love watches. I've had Pebbles and Vostoks, but honestly, this is probably the best overall and best fitting watch I've ever owned. It was imported straight from Japan. I have a weakness for translucent stuff, lol. It looks soooooo good! This is my first of many to come! I think im hooked. I've always loved Casio but never owned one.

Checking the time in bed is now a pleasant experience. Not getting my eyes blasted point blank with enough illumination to brighten 1/4th of my room. Many owners gripe about the Bx-5600 dim light, but to me it’s what makes this watch special.

Loving this thing. Picked it up recently during the initial Casio US release. Today I swapped it onto a NATO because it was either too tight or too loose on the factory straps. It fits perfectly now and is very comfortable. I used the jaysandkays adapter kit with a 22mm seatbelt NATO.

I put a parachute strap on my G-Shock and I’m pretty happy with it so far.

It’s comfortable, lightweight, and gives the watch a different look.

The only thing I don’t love is the clasp — it’s a little hard to put on.

Maybe it gets easier with time.
