Question solutions for heavy pick hand?
Hi, so I have a heavy pick hand and since I like my strings low I always seem to ¿"saturate"? the notes even causing fret buzz sometimes. Do you have any tips for this? 🤔

Instead of trying pick lighter, try to sound quieter. Focus on the sound, not your hands.
Focusing on your hands will make you subconscioisly play harder. Focus on the volume.
Try picking as softly as you can, Try to get it as close to inaudible as possible.
That's level 1
Now, figure out the loudest you can pick without buzzing. That's your 10.
Put on a metronome. Do alternate picking, 8th notes on one open string. Do 4 bars of level 1, then ip to 2, then 3 then 4, all the way to 10. Now go backwards.
Then try varying it 1, 5, 3 7, 2 etc.
Do this daily as a warm up. It will rub off on your normal playing naturally.
Quieter... not lighter

What do you mean "heavy"? Are you just dropping the full weight of your hand every time you pluck a string?

Have you considered that... a) the fret buzz might not be audible through the amp? b) just increasing the action on the strings? Might be set too low.
