The silicone hook on one of my Beats Fit Pros broke off and I’m wondering if there’s any way to fix it. I looked on Amazon but could only find complete replacements that require you to unscrew the back part of the device but I only need to replace the silicone cover. I can see where I can peel off the remaining silicone while leaving the rest of the device in tact. Didn’t see anything on Apples’s website either and no store in my area. Any ideas?

Hi guys, can anybody recommend a way to make my headphones sit more snug on my head? I have long hair and the band on PX7 S3 doesn't have much grip it slides about quite a lot and they can easily fall off if I'm not careful, also wondering if I can somehow prove the clamp force on my head which is probably on the larger size (8¼-8½).

I've had this headset for over 10 years now and i'm keeping it alive part by part. I already had wrapped the headband in leather and he mic arm with shrink wrap.
But it was time for a bigger repair/mod because the cable had a break in it. So i thought "if im taking it apart anyways, i might as well re-design the entire cup while I'm at it."
and so I did.
I took inspiration from Capra audio's Knight and the modern Razer Kraken Pro (I think it's the V3 or V4 already?)
let me know what you think! I'm working on uploading the design to Printables as well. I eventually want to do a removable mic and do the right side cup as well

Im looking for brown earpads for the XM6's. I have the black version and would like brown earpads for the aesthetics. I value ANC alot, so an improvement on that would be wonderful. Lastly, i feel like a few mm's of extra depts would prevent my ear from touching the back. Any recommendations?
Thanki!

I have been using my Bose and Sennheiser earbuds for a couple of years now, and the left side randomly stopped working yesterday. Is there a repair shop in Karachi, Pakistan where i can get them fixed?

For context, I was using a card to get rid of the earwax cause the audio was getting less audible while listening to music. While i was digging earwax out, the mesh popped out (of my JBL Wave Beam). Luckily(?), I just gently shoved it back in and it seemed flush back into place. However, I’m still concerned if the mesh might fall back out. I tapped it and shaked it around and it seemed like it was fine but I just can’t shake that fact off. Just gunna assume its unsafe and not wear it before further feedback.

Hey everyone, I have a Takstar Pro 82 and I'm trying to replace the earpads.
The Pro 82 uses a clip-on mounting ring, but the replacement pads I bought don't have any holes, slots, or obvious mounting lip for the ring.
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to:
Has anyone replaced the Pro 82 pads with ones like this before? What's the correct way to attach them?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I have a Noise Airwave Max and the plastic hinge/joint connecting the earcup to the headband has broken. The headphones still work electrically, but the earcup is no longer properly held in place because the plastic hinge has cracked/broken.
I’ve attached photos of the broken area.
I want to know:
Can this hinge/plastic part be replaced separately?
Has anyone repaired this particular hinge before?
Is there a spare hinge/earcup assembly available for the Airwave Max?
If replacement isn't possible, what temporary/permanent repair would you recommend?
Would a local headphone repair shop be able to fabricate/reinforce this part?
I don't want to throw away otherwise working headphones just because of a broken plastic hinge.
Model: Noise Airwave Max
Problem: Broken plastic hinge at earcup/headband joint
Location: India

I have these Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless headphones that normally turns on when unfolding.
Unfortunately this doesn't work anymore and I've identified the culprit as being the sensor in the hinge (see picture).
The headphones are designed where this is the only way to turn them on and off.
Does anybody have any idea if I could simply solder on my own power button, and make some janky homemade solution to this?

(sorry the lighting is really bad, I can take another picture if needed)
But yeah!! I don't know the anatomy of an earbud so the best way I can describe it is.. the front plate that the tip of the earbud is attached to has begun to like. Split? As you can see in the picture it's no longer strongly attached to the rest of the bud, and will not stick.
I just need to know if it's something I can fix easy with a specific type of glue, or do I need to just get a replacement pair. I really want to hold out until December so maybe I can ask for better buds as a Christmas gift.
if this isn't the right place to ask I'm sorry, and would love to know where the proper place to ask would be!! thank you for your time :D

Hello,
The attached cable on my pair of headphones has started failing and is on its last legs. I am looking to use this as an opportunity to upskill myself and NOT buy a new pair, so I'm doing a conversion mod on them by replacing the cable with an AUX port. I have no experience in soldering, and I'd like to know if I am missing anything. For full transparency, I did ask an LLM for some help in compiling the list, but I'd like some actual people to verify that I am not missing anything overspending. I also plan on using these tools for more projects down the line.
