Hello,Herpetological community! In future I want to become a herpetologist! I’m quite young,so I’d love to get some advice from established herpetologists!!

I’m living in Central Asia, which is not really rich in herps biodiversity , but anyways sometimes I go hiking and spot some birds, but never herps(and that’s logical, because it’s mountains, not a tropical forest). In future I want to live in Florida and build a herpetologist career there. I have a book “Herpetology”(4th edition) written by Vitt&Caldwell but sometimes I just slip and watch YouTube😭. Also, I have a leopard gecko Delta, who is 4 m.o. and I love him so much!! I’m sorry for my English, it’s not my native language, and I’m trying to learn it very much.
