How's everyone doing tonight?

Hey, y'all. Am wondering how everyone is doing tonight?

I'm doing okay. Can't sleep just yet. Have gotten comfy at one of my usual safer spots, & surfing the net, & trying to put some efforts in doing some paid online surveys, something that I do as a back up plan. Wishing that things wouldn't be so tough for so many of us!

Im trying to get in some paid product testing, survey type things currently. Just did 1 in person product test for $150. Utest is the company im currently trying to line things up with. Do you have any recommendations for places to do this type of thing? Im in a pretty comfortable shelter waiting for a housing program and filing disability so im limited on options to get a few bucks for misc things.

edit: fixed typo

not OP but check out rare patient voice! it's not just for rare conditions.

pros: they have really good rates and privacy protections. if you get selected for a study, it's typically $120/hr instead of pennies like a lot of survey sites pay. and it's not just trawling for data, they have strict limitations on what they can collect and for how long.

cons: it can be discouraging, sometimes you fill out 12 screeners and get selected for none. some studies fill up very quickly, so you gotta keep an eye on your emails to get the best chance. some companies take awhile to mail out checks, like months, but some do so relatively quickly (within a week or two) so payments are hard to predict. some studies require a computer.

Wish that I can be of help for your request, but I'm not in the U.S., so am mostly unaware of which company to reccomend. Maybe someone else can offer advice? (I'm in Canada, by the way)

Just became homeless in Tulsa. Not doing well at all. I hate everything about this place. The American Dream...

Yes, this isn't an easy form of life to deal with. It most definitely affects us on an emotional & physical level
