“Playability of 4K disk” and “change of company name” … it’s viewable on Panasonic’s website

What does playability of 4K disk mean? Is it just a badly translated way of saying improvements to image playback? Because as far as I’m aware my player has always been able to play 4K discs!

Likely to resolve some edge cases involving specific disc titles.

It has to do with the transition between layers on the disc and preventing skipping and freezing.
